Welcoming Year 2008 - Huat ah !

Today is eve of new year le. Hao kuai ah... This Dec is the busiest I had in my whole life. Mang dao... *pengz*

Recently feel that my breathing not very shun. Sometimes can feel my chest like tio choke, got twice I had severe pain around the bra-line near the chest. And I had to take very light and short breath to ease the pain. Maybe I got heart problem? Maybe my time is up soon? Choy choy... Should have a full body checkup next year. The last time I had a full body check up was 2 years back liao. Been having alot of pessimistic imaginations for the past few days. Insufficient-sleep=Hallucination=Wild-imaginations? *shrugz* Plucking in to my earphone and listening to my favourite mp3 songs everyday in office nowadays. De-stress? Perhaps. Unknown stress again.

Happy for Kee that she found a new bf. Hope this one will treat her better and take good care of her. 永浴爱河哦!

You know, life is such a routine cycle. When you are single, people will ask, 几时要找个归宿? Then when you finally 在万林之中找到那根草, people will ask 几时要结婚? And then when you finally get married, people will start to ask 几时要生孩子? Alas, after you got your 1st child, people will start to ask you 几时要再生? Now every time I meet my friends, confirm plus chop, without fail 几时要生孩子 is one of the conversation line. Duh... Next topic please... We're not ready for a child.

My little finger has healed. But now it looks like its stained with chocolate coz the blood clot has turned brown. -_-||| See the picture below, know what I mean?

Oh ya, congrats Nelly for her big day on 29-Dec.

Hope 2008 will be a good year. HUAT AH!!!

Busy Dec

Busy busy busy... Having a bazaar outside Orchard Cineleisure till x'mas eve. Gotta go down after work during some weekday, its tiring initially, but seems like I'm getting accustomed to it. Guess its just mind over body. Hubby is more tired than me coz he goes down every weekdays. Poor thing... Jia you hubby!

Will be room alone next weekend coz Hubby travelling overseas. Think will go niang jia to sleep since its nearer to Orchard. Miss mum also...

Dunno what's wrong with my teeth, the molar teeth on my left side feels "wierd". Time to visit the dentist. Perhaps next weekend morning before I go Orchard.

Can't wait for x'mas to come, then Hubby and I can have a good rest. Sigh...

Poor finger

My poor little finger is healing... Healing... But needs a super long time to get healed.

Oh, did I mention how I injuried my finger? Last Sunday hubby and I were leaving the chalet and he suddenly realised his cashcard didnt have enough money for the carpark gantry. So we alighted the van to go to get the cashcard topped up. And si buay suay, I dunno how I placed my hand and I shut the van door and I see my little finger being clamped by the door. Then I "Ah!" very loud and faster open the door then see blood dripping out from my nail. Boo hoo... That's how I injuried my poor little finger. Though only the right little finger is injuried, but I feel like my whole right hand is handicapped. Having difficulty writing, washing my face, taking things out from my bag... My writings now looks like my 5-year-old niece's hand-writing T_T

Hubby working night shift these few days. Room alone again. Sigh...

Deepavali coming next Thursay. Yeah... And 54 more days to X'mas. Time flies man...
By the way, prior to this entry, we found our Egypt album. Its at my mum's place =P

Missing

Keep having things gone missing at home recently.

First was my hardcopy of the inventory list. Now is our Egypt honeymoon photo album! Sigh... Just don't understand how it went missing and where we put it. Photos gone missing nevermind, can re-develop. What saddens me are all our entrance tickets and air tickets which I put together in the album. Sigh... So sad... Gone is part of our "sovenirs" from Egypt. =(

Woo-hoo~ Its Friday!

What's wrong with Imeem? Nowadays, listening to music on Imeem just makes me feel like pulling my hair. Argh... The downloading is like dio-tad, dio-tad like that. After loading 50% it don't seem to continue and the stupid status bar is like being blocked by something and just dont proceed. Grr...

I find Facebook complicating. I don't really know what are the purpose and how to use for many of the applications. Maybe I can't be bothered to explore *shrugz* I think Friendster is enough for me to cope, manage and maintain. *Shrugz again*

Gaming

Had completed Teddy Factory the day before. Think its a game thats relatively simple and suitable for kids on colour and parts coordination. Just that your fingers must move very fast on the mouse.

Now playing Cake Mania . Finally get to play the full version of it coz previously played on the trial version and its really frustrating to see the pop out screen "Thank you for playing, if you would like to play the full version, you may download it for only $xx.xx" when I'm starting to get so engrossed and addicted to it.

Thinking of getting a PSP slim. Hiak hiak... Maybe see if the price will drop further at the end of the year.

Lonely night

Just finished tabulating the stock for our keychain. Was watching America's Next Top Model as I was doing the spreadsheet. Sianz... Hubby is having out-field training tonight. Room-alone.

I miss Hubby... I miss mummy...

Super duper dead tired

Been dozing off on my workdesk in office these few days. Had been sleeping very late every night recently. Ivy and I always take turns to MSN each other "very sleepy leh" everyday and find some topics to chat to keep ourselves awake T_T

Oct is an extremely busy month. There isn't much time for me and hubby to rest. Working, going bazaar, sorting out the goods... Very tiring. Hope all our hard work will pay off.

I love my mum

Recent Sunday. Was in the car when my hp rings. "Home" floats out on the hp screen.

Me : Hello
Niece : 姑姑! 你在哪里?
Me : 我在外面, why leh?
Niece : 你几点过来?
Me : 我要来了,做么leh?
Niece : Ah-ma 想你

Its a short conversation, but touches my heart deeply.

Few days back, I dreamt that I hugged my mum. It was a funny and wierd but warmth feeling. Think I miss my mum too much. Haa... My mum is an angel, sometimes I think she's like pu(2) sa(4), coz she's got a very big heart, unselfish, always putting others before herself, treats everyone, even animal very well.

I love my mummy!!!

Happy Mooncake Festival

Sianz, sianz, sianz...

Chatting with Juehui on MSN. On her boss and the cleaner auntie. There's just so many weird people around.

Yesterday was Mooncake Festival. Taiwan have 3 days holiday, Korea also have 3 days holiday. Why Singapore don't have holiday?! It's a multi racial country, yet our holiday is so much lesser than other countries. Hmpf...

I hate the office air-con. Sometimes its very cold, sometimes its not. So I'm like wearing my jacket this moment and taking it off the next. Then maybe an hour or so later, I'm putting the jacket on again. Fashion show.... T_T

Exercise machine?

Hmm... Thought of getting an exercise machine to tone my thighs and calves. Can use the capitalmall vouchers to pay some of the amount. I hate my heavy bottoms! Make me look so unproportionate =(

Had done some web search and is considering either of the 2 machines below, one is the stepper and the other is the Leg Magic. Joyce used Leg Magic before, says its not bad and is not din-deh (as in occupy big space). Maybe will go down AIBI one day to test out the machines.

Bloaty

Arghh... Feeling so bloated. Like a lot of shit, air and other waste in my stomach =(

Mooncake festival coming soon. Yea yea, bought 3 boxes of mooncake yesterday. One for my parents, one for in-laws (actually its for myself also, but coz we're living together, so you know...) and another one for Hubby's ah-ma.

Well, the Raffles Hotel came down to sell their mooncakes at our tearoom-aka-canteen yesterday. Everyone was like having hoo-haa about how nice the Snow-Skin Mooncake with Champagne Truffle & Ganache from Raffles Hotel was. So I bought a box of that and a box of Snow-Skin Mooncake with Dark Chocolate Crunchy Pearl. Well, I find the Champagne Truffle & Ganache OK only leh. I actually like the Dark Chocolate Crunchy Pearl more lor, coz cruncy crunchy one... taste good. Yummy...

Yesterday was on superbus# 51 to go my mum's home. It was packed like sardine and this stupid Bungladesh-look-alike guy that was standing behind me was adjusting the aircon. Its not that kinda round aircon above the seats that we can rotate and adjust de lor. Its those bar-kind which I don't think can adjust lor. Then ta ma de the black dust all fall on me. Shit man. I thought how come my hand suddenly so ticklish, then I saw black black thing on my hand and look up and saw a hand. Then I turn my head back and that kam-gong guy still can smile at me lor. Wah lau, I gin him lor. That aircon how can adjust one. See also know liao, the whole plastic long bar is fixed one leh. Wah piang...

Then there's another time also on the superbus. There's this guy, I think his eyes itchy or what la... He was preparing to alight, but the bus hasnt reach the stop yet, then he climbed up one step of the stairs that leads to the 2nd deck and put his eyes near the aircon to blow. Biang eh... Ya la... the aircon was blasting and very cold la, but no need so kua zhang ba... blow the eyes with the aircon? I think more dust goes into the eyes lor... -_-|||

K la, enough crap le... Log off liao. Bye bye...

Busy busy... Weekend over already

Sigh... Weekend is gone again T_T
And hell, today is Monday X_X
Super sianz... Boring day at work. Real bored... Nothing much to do. Yawnz...

Went studio recording yesterday for Vicky's bridal MTV sample. Qik-zhar-buay-zha voice havent open go do recording liao. Biang... I sang like shit but hubby sang marvellously well (he's pro lor). Anyway, was a fun experience. Went mum's place for lunch after that as usual. Sunday = Family day.

Hubby and I always like to disturb my niece and nephew and see their reaction. I've got a very chirpy 3-year-old nephew and I'm always amazed by his little gimmicks. The last time out of the blue, he blurted "Five bucks? No way!", its the LJS commercial which I never even watched before lor. But hearing him saying that verse is si-bay-gey-yan and cute. Yesterday my dad was hugging him and I bet my dad's hair must be kinda messy or looks wierd, my nephew looked at his hair and asked innocently:

"Ah-gong, 谁comb你的hair的?"
My dad, amused by the question : "Huh? Ermm... 小朋友 lor"
Me, trying to disturb my nephew again: "Why? Ah-gong's hair not nice ah? Ah-gong handsome or not?"
My nephew shakes his head and mumbled "no". *Faints* Kids are so truthful. Wanna ask for any truthful and simple opinion, maybe can try asking the kids. Geez...

Hubby also like to disturb my nephew by saying he's wearing panties whenever my little nephew is out from toilet. Then my nephew will be like very ji-dong and reply "NO!!! Not panties, its UNDERWEAR!!!" Clever huh? Kids, they really can brighten up your day.

Sigh... so sianz... its only 10.46am now. 7 more hours to off work. T_T
Didnt tidy up the room last week coz was at Kembangan flea market on Saturday. Well, I make it a point to clean up and tidy up the room every weekends coz weekdays usually reach home quite late. Maybe try to reach home earlier tonight to do some tidy up.

K, getting back to work. Ciao~

Back to realistic

Wow, its been 1 month since I last updated. Aug is a travelling month, went Egypt from 4-Aug to 15-Aug, came back and went Guangzhou from 18-Aug to 21-Aug.

Egypt was a super relaxing and magnificiently majestic trip. Our tour group only have hubby and me. Haa... So its like we have a personal tour guide and driver.

The 4 days on the Nile cruise is really "relaxing". There's nothing much to do on the cruise, the only leisure facility available is a pathetically small pool. TV programs are mostly in arabic languages and the signal is so poor that when they start to sail you only see black and white dots and moving lines with "SSSssss...." sounds So basically the main activities on the cruise are sleep and eat.

We took all sorts of transport during this honeymoon trip - air, sea, land, rail. You name it, we got it. Aeroplane la, car la, coach, train, cruise, motor boat, sailing boat, horse carriage, camel ride and hot air balloon! Yea, yea... happening right... we went on hot air ballon the very next morning when we reach Luxor! We get to see them setting up the hot air balloon when we reach there. The balloon ride was hot and fun. Get to see sunrise on the hot air balloon and very nice scenary.

Went to visit alot of Egypt temples and ancient ruins during our stay there. The most memorable one would be Abul Simbel. Coz they literally cut out the huge stone temple and move it 200m away from the river that is always flooding and reconstruct it. And I tell you, the temple is not like the kind we see in Singapore lor, its stones lor and the temple is like more than 20 stories high. It was amazing lor, wonder how the people are able to do such things in the past. In fact, all the ancient ruins and temples are amazing lor, coz all the walls are engraved with stories or names, and I mean the WHOLE wall, even the ceilings. Its unbelievable how they do it in those old time with primitive tools and I can't imagine the life that the past Egyptian lives in.

Well, the weather was super hot when we were there. Even the wind that was blowing was sometimes warm. The food there really bei-hao-gor, everyday is gor-song bread of various shapes, pasta, chicken, mutton, potatoes, wierd vegetables... Their style of cooking just doesnt suits my taste Hubby and I yearned for Singapore's char-kway-tiao and hei-mee during our last few days at Egypt.

Their road very dak-gong. The traffic lights seems to be standing there for decoration coz they never works. The car hornings are non-stop especially for busy roads. Our last 2 days at Egypt were free and easy, so Hubby and I took cabs to our destinations. Their over-taking skill is of superb accuracy lor. Saad-saad-bo-chio... They zoom here zoom there, squeeze through in between cars which we thought were not possible coz the space seems so small. And don't bother to walk to the traffic light to cross the road; in Egypt, jay-walk is the way.

Wanted to post up some pictures, but I'm just too lazy to do it. Gee... Will try to do it one of these days.

Ciao~

Unknown stress

Feels like I've some level of stress building up in me. Unknown stress. Dunno what I'm stress of.

Yesterday night, after returning home from Charmaine's house collecting our goods, I realised my thigh had lotsa tiny red rashes. Dunno how it developed. And as I think back, I wonder if it's the dog that pounce on me and place it paws on my thigh that caused the rashes to develop. Wah... jia lat, come to think of it, my skin so ultra sensitive meh... =S

Next week going to the Egypt trip liao. Time flies man... Finally get a chance to rest and relax. Preparing myself to come back like orh-gek-leng, dark dark. I'll be bringing sunblock over while hubby is bring suntan lotion. *Faints* Think he no need to use camou-cream when he come back liao, as long as he dun open his mouth to show his teeth, think the enemy will think that its a patch of tree bark or dark soil. Wahahah...

CS Metro closing down sale

OK, I don't know when this started, but I recently found out that Century Square Metro is having closing down sales. And alot of things are going at 50% + 20% off ! And so I bought 2 quilt cover sets for less than $60, also some underwear for hubby and panties for myself. If you need anything which you think might be able to find at CS Metro, do go and have a look and save a heap. The things si buay cheap...

Went to cut my fringe on Saturday. Ya.... back to the ah-toot look again. Hubby feels like bashing me in the face again coz I look too "cute-to-be-true". My colleagues says the fringe makes me look so much more younger, looks sweet and one even commented that I look yummy. Yummy? Err... You mean my face looks round and flat and gong so you feel like eating? -_-"

Was in the MRT yesterday and saw a young lady holding up her handphone and snapping pictures of herself. Wierd leh... I mean with frenz around still ok la. But its like alone? Then kena siao like that smiling at the handphone and take picture of yourself. Dunno leh, I find it wierd... Or maybe I'm the wierd one? *shrugz*

I'm going Egypt !

Yes! Our honeymoon trip to Egypt is confirmed! Yeah!

After we return from Egypt, will be going Guangzhou with Beng, Hubby, Wansi and bf to see what else we can bring in to sell other than clocks. August is a travelling month!

Weekends just come and go, feels like I didn't get to enjoy weekends. Sometimes I just feel like lying on the bed and watch DVDs. But seems like most of the weekends are spent outside. The Shrek 3 DVD which I bought a few weeks back is starting to collect dust on the shelf le... Sigh... Hubby, when will we be able to watch it together?

2 more weeks to my Egypt trip. Woo-hoo ~~

My big day is finally over !

Everything was quite smooth. Dinner started on time at the banquet. Thanks everyone for turning up early and on time !

Now is the honeymoon thingy. Our Egypt trip seems to have so much problem. 1st is not enough people for the tour group. Found another tour agency and now they don't have flight ticket to Cairo. Grr... Hopefully they can find a pair of tickets for us *Fingers crossed*

Ugly behaviour as an elder

Its amazing how people can be so petty to an extreme. A member in my mum's family made my dua-gim (eldest aunt) unhappy and she was angry with the whole Angs family.

The whole story goes like this. My dua-gim and dua-gu went to my granny's brother's daughter's wedding. Then dunno why la, there's not enough seats for them. And my dua-gim and dua-gu kenna splitted into 2 tables. Then I think she very buay-song and storm out of the restaurant and went home before the dinner starts.

Anyway, I just get to know of this incident yesterday, coz I need to call up my relatives to say I will be going over to them pass my invitation card and cake. Then mum tried calling this no-logic-and-petty-to-the-extreme dua gim's home, but no one answered. So mum asked Cat, my cousin, to call her since Cat has her hp number. Then 5 mins later Cat called and relay that dua gim asked us dun need to give her coz she 不会接受. What the hell lor. I was like kinda puzzled why my dua gim is so harsh until mum told me the bo liao history that make her bear such deep grudges. Piang... Can't believe she can be so petty until she won't accept anyone's invitation even if we're not the ones who provoked her.

Anyway, never mind, I got the hp# from Cat so I can call her myself to explain to her. So I called, but she didnt pick up the call. Then never mind, I went ahead with all the sending of the invitations. So I used my hp to call this dua gim's home number to see if she's at home so I can go to her house and pass her the invitation card and cake. She picked up the call. I was kinda happy coz now that I know she is at home. Then she grumble grumble say she won't accept the invitation and say she tired and hung up the phone. Fuck her lor. But never mind, now that I know that she's at home, hubby and me went over her house. Shit, went to the wrong unit, then I called and called this petty dua gim's home number but she didnt pick up the phone. Never mind, so I called my 2nd uncle who lives quite close to her to check out her unit number. OK, hubby and me finally reaches the correct unit and we knock and call and knock and call but she wouldn't open up the fucking damn door nor pick up the phone. That is so RUDE lor. Come'on la dua gim, its others who provoke you lor, I'm just doing my duty as a niece to pass you my invitation lor, you don't want to come for the banquet never mind lor, but as the eldest aunt in the whole family tree who should be the most senile sensible and understanding elder, you acted so childish and arrogant lor. You're really a poor example to the rest. I super super super look you down. Wake up your idea la. You keep bearing such deep grudges until you lie inside the coffin, your life happy or not? Anyway, to end the story of this ugly behaviour of my childish and petty aunt, hubby and me left the cake outside the door and left.

Settled the whole distributing thing at 8pm. Phew... Guo-da-li done. Now gotta prepare for an-chuan next. 2 more weeks to go. OMG....

TL day!

This morning took bus 87 to work, boarded the bus and found a seat on the face-to-face long seat in the double-deck superbus and sat down. Then a ta-ma-de bastard who wear white and blue flowery shirt sat beside me. Ta-ma-de he's not very big size lor, but ta-ma-de he sat very close to me and ta-ma-de the bell pole is just beside me and I can't move my leg and ta-ma-de I have to shift and ta-ma-de squeeze my buttock with only half a seat. Fuck! TL ! Think the people sitting opposite me must have saw my TL face coz I keep "gin-ing" at the ta-ma-de flowery bastard. Feel like pulling his hair and give him a punch in his pockmarked face.

Monday si bey blue....

Sian sian sian... No mood to work today... Keep yawning none stop.

Oh ya, saw my primary school best friend's bro at suntec few weeks back and finally manage to get my friend's contact. Happy! Just in time to invite her to my wedding banquet! Been long since I last met her. Miss her lots!

Ok. Some update on my progress of moving of my stuffs to hubby's house. Had bring some bags and all my certs over. Planning to move my clothes over next weekend. Think nothing much to move actually. Most stuffs will remain at mum's house ba. Hahaha...

Saturday went to collect our wedding album, super heavy lor. Quite happy with the album la. Coz I'm not the fussy kind. Also went over to suntec to try out the sound system and projector. Works fine. Good. Coz I was still worrying that they cant play the music which I burnt from MP3 format. Need more planning with hubby on the march in stuffs.

This Sunday guo-da-li. Time flies...

My sign

My birth date is 21-Aug; lies quite between the sign Leo and Virgo. Birth dates that falls between 23-Jul to 22-Aug is under Leo and 23-Aug to 22-Sept is under Virgo. So officially I am a Leo.

I feel that my character is more of a Virgo rather than Leo. I don't like to lead, not outgoing, not very confident, not boastful and some other Leo traits which I don't think I possess them. Rather, I think I possess more of the hard-to-understand Virgo traits. Well, I'm a worrier, try to attain perfection for the things I do, undemonstrative, think complicatedly.

Anyway, went to do some bo liao personality test and below is my result.
So I can say that I'm a Leo with Virgo personality. Complicated.

You are 53% Leo

You are 87% Virgo

Mars Vs Venus

I love to watch the show "Mars vs Venus" thats currently showing in channel 8. Not only its funny, its also very realistic. Really reflects alot on man and woman. I practically agree with alot of the scenes, particularly "man can separate sex and love". Where the hell can you find such a man like William (acted by Piere Png) in the show?! Which guy can resist temptation from woman who pounce herself on him? These are real rare species. Think almost extinct in the world. Maybe you can find 1 such man out of every million species in the planet mars.

Team dinner

Super hot nowadays, super hot.... went hubby's home during lunch time to get some stuffs to top up at Lynette's store. While waiting for the bus at the interchange to come back office, I was like dua liap guah, shuay liap guah... all the guah "bursting" out from my pores and roll down from my head and back. -_-" Can't wait to get up the bus *sweat*

Had team dinner with my department colleagues yesterday at Royal Plaza on Scotts. The food wasnt that great. I think the dishes that taste best to me is their cakes =p Lot of the foods displayed on the table, I don't eat. So to summarise, below are the food that I ate yesterday night:

1st round
- Speghetti (the biggest portion of all the things I ate coz they cook the pasta on the spot)
- A small piece of roasted chicken (this one not bad)
- A few cubes of wierdly fried-style potato (the name of this dish was very long, dunno Anna simi simi simi sai fried potato)
- A slice of turkey (Yucks, I don't like the taste of it)
- 1 pizza bread (not bad)
- 1 dumpling (tasted so-so)

Abit full

2nd round
- Sushi (took 5 pieces in total of diff "fillings")
- Lobster (1/2 slipper Lobster, 1/2 pacific lobster)

Starting to feel very full...

3rd round
- fish maw soup (tasted nice, but felt like drinking glue - too starchy)
- chicken rice ball of ping-pong ball size with pathetically 5 to 6 slices of chicken (saw my colleague eating and said the chilli was nice, so I also went to try)
- keropok (those bitter bitter kind that hubby's dad like to eat and prawn crackers)

Super full liao...

4th round
- 3 small tiny pieces of chocolate cakes ( I love chocolate)
- 1 mini cup of tiramitsu with chocolate toppings (Yes, I love chocolate)
- 1 cheesecake (very small piece, but I couldn't finish coz its not chocolate =p)
- 2 round chocolate biscuits dipped in chocolate fondue (Yummy! Chocolate!)

5th round
- 1 scoop of chocolate ice-cream (yes, chocolate again), topped with chocolate syrup, rainbow candies, chocolate chips, peanut grinds (half of the ice cream already melted when I went back to my seat)
- Fruits (as usual... papaya, honeydew, watermelon, rock melon)

Walked to the toilet after the whole meal and I feel like my stomach is going to tear apart. I'm simply too full!

Whole dinner ended around 10pm. Walked to Orchard MRT with a bunch of colleagues to take train home. In the station waiting for the train to arrive:

Joyce : Wah... heng bao... must eat some yogurt to digest and let it come out.
Joey : Ya, think I go home take the Yu Ren Sheng medicine that can help digestion
Me : Wah... you all got so many styles, then I must go and buy 1 whole pack of yakult and finish the 5 bottles liao.
Joey: Wahahaha... OK, see whose method is the most effective.

Dr Ong is not in again

Went Maple on Friday to see Dr Ong for my pretty pretty face that is so dry nowadays. Reached there, bo lang eh... something's not right coz usually the queue is super long, checked the duty-schedule, correct leh, its Dr Ong on duty today. Then saw a notice pasted next to the schedule "Take Note: Dr Ong will be away from 9-May to 13-May". Ta ma de... This is the 2nd time which I came and she's not on duty lor. And its 2 times in a row. Grr... Angry...

Then I went Tampines Mall, spend money again... Bought a black-colour sleeveless top and a 3/4 denim pants, total hit $39. Still ok lah... Coz got discounts for both. Heh... =p

Mother's Day was just over yesterday. Well, this year, unlike the previous years, we didn't bring mum for a big meal. We bought her a chain and a diamond pendant by request. Ermm... Actually mum only requested for a chain, but I added on a diamond pendant for her. I'm glad she like the pendant alot coz she was in a dilemma as to put on her jade piece or the pendant for the chain, anyway, I told her to wear the jade lah, coz jade is better, think it can help to protect the person wearing the jade? Something like that ba...

May-day : JB trip

Was supposed to have stand-by in office during May-day, but in the end Japan and Korea say there's no shipment, so in the end cancelled. Heng ah... But my standby is pushed back to Vesak Day. Boo~~~

Anyway, hubby, me, kee, rong, quan and yen went JB on May-day. Reached there around closed to 11am, ate Ba-ku-teh, some claypot chicken, claypot trotter, basically the meal is full of meat. Very full. And we headed down to dunno-where (quan is this excursion's head) to look for a karaoke dvd which hubby need. We alighted the cab and smelt an extremely foul smell. Poor rong, took in too deep a breathe and vomitted right after he alighted the cab. Bo wei gong... the rest of us all zhao-kar-bey-hu to cross to the other side of the road to leave that area of deadly foul smell... and rong is still there, squating beside a canal, vomitting. Wah piang... he can still breathe in and smell that si buay chao bah-wu squating there de lor... Then quan and hubby were like shouting at him across the road to ask him to come over and leave the foul area. We saw him stood up and buay-ta-han vomit again. Bo-wei-gong... Finally see him crossing over and he vomitted once more *faint*

Anyway, we didnt managed to find the karaoke song that we wanted. So we left that shopping building and went Jesco where hubby bought some car shower foam, kee bought a top, quan and yen bought some dunkin donuts and rong bought a short bolster dunno for what.

Leave Jesco around 3 plus to avoid the traffic and custom jam. Met hubby's parent and granny for dinner to celebrate Mother's Day.

I was super bloated that day.

Read this =D

A man was walking across the road when he met with an accident.

The impact was on his head which caused him to be in a coma for two days, when he opened his eyes; his wife was by his side.

He told her (in tears), “when I was struggling with my studies in the University, I failed again and again. Sometimes I even have to re-take my papers. You were there by my side, encouraging me to go on trying.”

She squeezed his hands as he continued, “when I went for major interviews and failed to clinch any of the jobs, you were there, cutting out the job ads for me to apply…”

He added, “… then I started working in this little firm and finally got a big contract, I blew it because of a small mistake. But you are still there for me.”

His wife was in tears. The man said, ‘I finally got a job after being laid off for quite some time. But I never seem to be promoted and my hard work was not recognized. I remained in the same position from the day I joined the company till now. You are still beside me ….”

His wife’s tears trickled down as she listened to him, “and now I met with an accident when I woke up, you are here with me. There’s something I really like to say to you …..” she flung herself on the bed and hug her husband, sobbing with deep emotion.

Finally her husband said “…………………………….. I think you bring bad luck”.

ka na ji

Was attending the new hire presentation just now and the finance manager was sitting in front of me. He's an indian guy, botak botak, balding. No hair in the center of his head... chrome chrome, shining shining. I was looking very closely at his scalp and felt like giving him a ka-na-ji... hur~ o_o/v

Was in the bus yesterday morning and saw TV mobile reviewing on a new movie that is just screening in cinema. The shorts were si buay funny! The title of the movie is "Wild Hog" and I'll definitely going to catch it even though the critics gave it a D+ rating. Com'on lor, the users' rating is B lor... I think this bunch of critics must have watched too many movies to enjoy a comedy lor. Yeah, yeah... movies and popcorn again. Woo hoo~ Yea yea... getting fatter and fatter as well. Boo hoo~

Counting down, 39 more mins... Sian man... T_T

Busy long weekend O_o

Its been a busy long weekend. Wooo....

As mentioned in my previous post, Good Friday holiday is my bridal photo-taking day. Reached the bridal shop at around 10.30am, Angeline wasn't there yet. So I looked at some photo albums while waiting for her to arrive.

Around 10.45am, finally see her rushing in. So I went to change into my wedding gown, make-up, hubby changed, make up, went into the studio, smile-smile, pose-pose, came out, change hairstyle, go back in, smile-smile, pose-pose, came out, change to evening gown, change hairstyle again, back in to studio...... It was fun but tiring. Especially the outdoor shoot. The travelling make me so dozey. 1st stop was Botanic Garden, then we went to Punggol Beach. Initial plan was actually Changi Beach, but I requested for lalangs, so we ended up somewhere near Punggol beach with a whole field of pretty lalangs. Lucky us. After that went down to the beach to snap some photos. Our last stop was Fullerton, after so many greeneries, finally get to see urban sights. Whole photoshooting session ends at around 8 plus. Tired. Can't wait to see the photo in 2 weeks' time!

Saturday went to watch Jolin's concert. Super nice! Ma chiam watching some acrobatic circus performance. Lotsa great dances from Jolin and sing-alongs from the audiences. Funny thing is the human wave that Jolin requested the audience to do together. Her instruction is actually a human wave from top of the theatre to bottom. But you know la, our Singapore's Kallang wave is from left-to-right or right-to-left one, so it was hell of a mess initially. Then Jolin explained again. Finally the audience did a good one - still our Kallang wave version. We're just too used it left-right right-left. -_-

Watched Shooter on Sunday night. The story is about a shooter la, as what the title suggest. Asked to set up a plan to assasinate the president, but in the end kenna framed and went on a hideout and revenge trail. Ermm... it's kinda exagerating lor. The sniper si buay zun, no matter how far he also can aim and shoot on target. And I think the best part is they actually went those DIY/Walmart shop to buy "accessories" to make the GUN and explosive. Wah piang... didn't know the materials used to make guns can be easily bought in DIY shops. You must see it to understand the exagerration I'm talking about O_o Anyway, recently not much nice show on screen la. If you and your frenz wanna watch movie, can "try" this la.

Long weekend !

Yoo-hoo! Its Good Friday tomorrow! And its my bridal photo-taking session tomorrow! OK, so I must sleep early today, cannot drink water at night, and make sure I look pretty pretty tomorrow.

And I'm going to Jolin's concert on Saturday! Woo-hoo! Thanks hubby for this V-Day gift. Gonna see Jolin singing, dancing, doing some circus and acrobatic moves. And not forgetting her G-boobs which we had seen so many reports on. I think they are fake one lor. Last time flat flat, then suddenly now vaa-boom! so big... Wah lao, very hard to believe leh. Anyway, she can really dance well la, somemore with the 2 heavy assets in front of her, still can dance and jump, not easy..

Joke to share:

A man and his ever-nagging wife went on vacation to Jerusalem. While they were there, the wife passed away.

Undertaker: You can have her shipped home for $5000, or you can bury her here, in the Holy Land, for $150

After some thoughts, the husband told the undertaker that he would just have her shipped home.

Undertaker: Why would you spend $5000 to ship your wife home, when it would be wonderful to be buried here and you would spend only $150?

Husband: Long ago a man died here, was buried here, and three days later he rose from the dead. I just can't take that chance.

Growing dust

Been long since I update this blog. The logging in to blogspot is making my forehead full of creases. So many changes and wat the hell, the fonts are in Japanese when I log in. Come on blogspot, is the creator a Japanese? I thought English is the most common user language? Maybe they just want us to maximise the use of their help function. *Shrugz*

Gonna be very busy for the months to come; going to bazzars, preparing for wedding, renovating the room, etc. Had already chose the gowns for the wedding. Gonna go down the bridal shop next Sat to try the edited gown and trial makeup. Was kinda fun trying out all the different gowns. The more I try, the more I find the gowns all-so-similiar -_-

Work has been so-far-so-good *fingers crossed*. Was surprised and happy to see Juehui when her manager introduced her to my manager. Haa... The world is so small, we're now working in the same company. But kinda pity her coz she's got a lousy manager who knows nothing but ask questions and arrow people to do work. Easy money huh? Take home so high pay and that is all that he does. Know nuts on the work processes, don't even know what his subordinates are doing, pushing the subordinates to the limits... Think his whole team of people just can't wait for him to be sacked. Lucky my boss is a capable lady.

Alright, back to work now... Will update again soon. Hopefully...
Tata~

Happy CNY

V-Day is over and coming up next is the lunar new year. Yeah... hope I can catch up with 周公during the new year holiday coz I didn't had enough sleep for the past few days. Been busy wrapping flowers for our mini business. Can see my dark rings getting worst T_T

Do you have the chinese new year mood now? For me, I only have holiday mood, no CNY celebration mood. I remember last time when I was young, I will make it a point to buy new clothes and new shoes and excitedly waiting for CNY to come. Now? Clothes that were bought few months back but not worn will be my new clothes for CNY. New shoes? Didnt get any pair. Used to hear my parents saying "If you're rich, everyday is new year". I didn't understand that when I was young. Now I do. Guess as one age, CNY is just a busy period in which you need to do spring cleaning, preparing goodies, cooking for the guests who'll be coming to your house, having gatherings with friends and relatives, etc. Its also a period of increased expenditure for the CNY goodies, new appareals, ang baos......

Yawn... Sianz... My ex-company has already shut down for new year celebration and I'm still here in my new office, working full day. WTF... I'm so sleepy.

Anyway, happy chinese new year to all. Gong xi fa cai. Huat ah !!!

Food testing

1 week past since my 1st day of new job. Time flies...

Went to try the food for our wedding banquet on Sunday. The food are nice and in big portion. Had a super hefty lunch. I just wish its as nice and big portion on the actual day. All the dishes are ok, except for the shark fins soup which Mum and MLW commented that it tasted weird with enaki mushroom. And so we requested to change to crabmeat on the actual day. I like the chicken in yam basket the most. Yum yum... I don't think I'll get to eat that on the actual day coz I guess I should be busy changing or going table-to-table for photo taking.

Had my facial session yesterday and Corren (person who helped me do the facial) confided to me that she and her bf had a tiff and broke off. But I see that she had been very strong and took the whole thing in stride. Dog year hasnt been a good year. See lotsa couples breaking-off. Hope the piggy year will be a good one.

Oink oink...

Booooring orientation

It was a boring day, boring orientation.

The whole day, we were sitting in the conference room, seeing various different people coming in to address us on various different topics - security, quality, safety, etc. Zzz... Boring. I basically dozed thru after the lunch break. It was worst than sitting in the office with no work to do; you know, at least in the office you can surf net.

Doh......

New year, new job

Been so long since I last updated my blog.

OK, so its now year 2007 and I'm already in my new job. Before I leave my previous company, lotsa colleagues are like congratulating me for leaving the company for good. And so during my last day on 5-Jan, my CS colleagues said that I must be very happy coz its my last day. But truely speaking, I didn't feel happy and neither did I feel sad. I didnt have any last day feeling. Maybe because the following weekday, which is Monday, I still gotta work. Just that its a different environment. Think the only person who's moody that I leave is my supervisor. Ya.. Coz she needa find a new person to take over me and she has to train my replacement from scratch. Aww... Anyway, I requested for a testimonial and she said its no longer in-fashion so she didnt gave me one. WTF... She might as well reject me and tell me straight that she doesnt have time to write me one.

My new work environment is good. Colleagues are mostly around my age. See lotsa people coming to work late but its ok coz we dun clock in and out. Have proper work training and a full day orientation which I have to attend tomorrow. And I joined their kickboxing class which commence tomorrow as well; 50 bucks for 10 lessons, its cheap like shit.

In the office now, so bored... Still in my "honeymoon" period; waiting for people to teach and handover work stuffs. Luckily there's msn to keep me occupied talking to my frenz. If not I'll be bored to tears. =D
