Ugly legs =(

My legs... They're so ugly... Boo hoo... Full of eczema scars... When can I have a good night sleep? Its been long since I can sleep the whole night through without waking up in the middle of the night. Sigh... The itch seems to take a very long time to go away.

Hubby is off to Thailand this morning le. Will be room alone for the next 2 weeks. I'm already missing him.

My lips are feeling so dry. Think I ate too much seaweed for the past few days =p Can even see the seaweed when I shit. Haa...

Monday, January 14, 2008

AHHH....

Its been one week, and my eczema is not showing any improvement. OMG, help me!!!
Now my hand has it and its spreading towards my thigh. Boo hoo... So itchy, 我不想活了!!! Boo hoo hoo...

Friday, January 11, 2008

Argh... its driving me crazy

The itch is driving me crazy. Arghh...

I wonder when my eczema will recover. I keep having to tolerate the damn itchy skin throughout the 24hours, even in my sleep. I wake up every 1 hour at night, trying to find a comfortable position that won't irritate the skin and make it itchier. There's a tick in my medi that says "This drug cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery." Apparently, it has zero effect on me coz I don't feel any bit of drowsiness. I guess the itch has overpowered the drug. Boo hoo...

Now I just don't feel like going out coz I can only wear shorts so that my skin won't be irritated and I don't wish to go around scaring people with that patch of tai-goh skin behind my knee. Even I myself feel disgusted when I see my skin =( So I'll be working from home this week and next till the condition stables.

Sob sob... what a start for new year. Immune system, attack those eczema !!!

Welcoming Year 2008 - Huat ah !

Today is eve of new year le. Hao kuai ah... This Dec is the busiest I had in my whole life. Mang dao... *pengz*

Recently feel that my breathing not very shun. Sometimes can feel my chest like tio choke, got twice I had severe pain around the bra-line near the chest. And I had to take very light and short breath to ease the pain. Maybe I got heart problem? Maybe my time is up soon? Choy choy... Should have a full body checkup next year. The last time I had a full body check up was 2 years back liao. Been having alot of pessimistic imaginations for the past few days. Insufficient-sleep=Hallucination=Wild-imaginations? *shrugz* Plucking in to my earphone and listening to my favourite mp3 songs everyday in office nowadays. De-stress? Perhaps. Unknown stress again.

Happy for Kee that she found a new bf. Hope this one will treat her better and take good care of her. 永浴爱河哦!

You know, life is such a routine cycle. When you are single, people will ask, 几时要找个归宿? Then when you finally 在万林之中找到那根草, people will ask 几时要结婚? And then when you finally get married, people will start to ask 几时要生孩子? Alas, after you got your 1st child, people will start to ask you 几时要再生? Now every time I meet my friends, confirm plus chop, without fail 几时要生孩子 is one of the conversation line. Duh... Next topic please... We're not ready for a child.

My little finger has healed. But now it looks like its stained with chocolate coz the blood clot has turned brown. -_-||| See the picture below, know what I mean?

Oh ya, congrats Nelly for her big day on 29-Dec.

Hope 2008 will be a good year. HUAT AH!!!

Busy Dec

Busy busy busy... Having a bazaar outside Orchard Cineleisure till x'mas eve. Gotta go down after work during some weekday, its tiring initially, but seems like I'm getting accustomed to it. Guess its just mind over body. Hubby is more tired than me coz he goes down every weekdays. Poor thing... Jia you hubby!

Will be room alone next weekend coz Hubby travelling overseas. Think will go niang jia to sleep since its nearer to Orchard. Miss mum also...

Dunno what's wrong with my teeth, the molar teeth on my left side feels "wierd". Time to visit the dentist. Perhaps next weekend morning before I go Orchard.

Can't wait for x'mas to come, then Hubby and I can have a good rest. Sigh...

Poor finger

My poor little finger is healing... Healing... But needs a super long time to get healed.

Oh, did I mention how I injuried my finger? Last Sunday hubby and I were leaving the chalet and he suddenly realised his cashcard didnt have enough money for the carpark gantry. So we alighted the van to go to get the cashcard topped up. And si buay suay, I dunno how I placed my hand and I shut the van door and I see my little finger being clamped by the door. Then I "Ah!" very loud and faster open the door then see blood dripping out from my nail. Boo hoo... That's how I injuried my poor little finger. Though only the right little finger is injuried, but I feel like my whole right hand is handicapped. Having difficulty writing, washing my face, taking things out from my bag... My writings now looks like my 5-year-old niece's hand-writing T_T

Hubby working night shift these few days. Room alone again. Sigh...

Deepavali coming next Thursay. Yeah... And 54 more days to X'mas. Time flies man...
By the way, prior to this entry, we found our Egypt album. Its at my mum's place =P

Missing

Keep having things gone missing at home recently.

First was my hardcopy of the inventory list. Now is our Egypt honeymoon photo album! Sigh... Just don't understand how it went missing and where we put it. Photos gone missing nevermind, can re-develop. What saddens me are all our entrance tickets and air tickets which I put together in the album. Sigh... So sad... Gone is part of our "sovenirs" from Egypt. =(

Woo-hoo~ Its Friday!

What's wrong with Imeem? Nowadays, listening to music on Imeem just makes me feel like pulling my hair. Argh... The downloading is like dio-tad, dio-tad like that. After loading 50% it don't seem to continue and the stupid status bar is like being blocked by something and just dont proceed. Grr...

I find Facebook complicating. I don't really know what are the purpose and how to use for many of the applications. Maybe I can't be bothered to explore *shrugz* I think Friendster is enough for me to cope, manage and maintain. *Shrugz again*

Gaming

Had completed Teddy Factory the day before. Think its a game thats relatively simple and suitable for kids on colour and parts coordination. Just that your fingers must move very fast on the mouse.

Now playing Cake Mania . Finally get to play the full version of it coz previously played on the trial version and its really frustrating to see the pop out screen "Thank you for playing, if you would like to play the full version, you may download it for only $xx.xx" when I'm starting to get so engrossed and addicted to it.

Thinking of getting a PSP slim. Hiak hiak... Maybe see if the price will drop further at the end of the year.

Lonely night

Just finished tabulating the stock for our keychain. Was watching America's Next Top Model as I was doing the spreadsheet. Sianz... Hubby is having out-field training tonight. Room-alone.

I miss Hubby... I miss mummy...

Super duper dead tired

Been dozing off on my workdesk in office these few days. Had been sleeping very late every night recently. Ivy and I always take turns to MSN each other "very sleepy leh" everyday and find some topics to chat to keep ourselves awake T_T

Oct is an extremely busy month. There isn't much time for me and hubby to rest. Working, going bazaar, sorting out the goods... Very tiring. Hope all our hard work will pay off.

I love my mum

Recent Sunday. Was in the car when my hp rings. "Home" floats out on the hp screen.

Me : Hello
Niece : 姑姑! 你在哪里?
Me : 我在外面, why leh?
Niece : 你几点过来?
Me : 我要来了,做么leh?
Niece : Ah-ma 想你

Its a short conversation, but touches my heart deeply.

Few days back, I dreamt that I hugged my mum. It was a funny and wierd but warmth feeling. Think I miss my mum too much. Haa... My mum is an angel, sometimes I think she's like pu(2) sa(4), coz she's got a very big heart, unselfish, always putting others before herself, treats everyone, even animal very well.

I love my mummy!!!

Happy Mooncake Festival

Sianz, sianz, sianz...

Chatting with Juehui on MSN. On her boss and the cleaner auntie. There's just so many weird people around.

Yesterday was Mooncake Festival. Taiwan have 3 days holiday, Korea also have 3 days holiday. Why Singapore don't have holiday?! It's a multi racial country, yet our holiday is so much lesser than other countries. Hmpf...

I hate the office air-con. Sometimes its very cold, sometimes its not. So I'm like wearing my jacket this moment and taking it off the next. Then maybe an hour or so later, I'm putting the jacket on again. Fashion show.... T_T

Exercise machine?

Hmm... Thought of getting an exercise machine to tone my thighs and calves. Can use the capitalmall vouchers to pay some of the amount. I hate my heavy bottoms! Make me look so unproportionate =(

Had done some web search and is considering either of the 2 machines below, one is the stepper and the other is the Leg Magic. Joyce used Leg Magic before, says its not bad and is not din-deh (as in occupy big space). Maybe will go down AIBI one day to test out the machines.

Bloaty

Arghh... Feeling so bloated. Like a lot of shit, air and other waste in my stomach =(

Mooncake festival coming soon. Yea yea, bought 3 boxes of mooncake yesterday. One for my parents, one for in-laws (actually its for myself also, but coz we're living together, so you know...) and another one for Hubby's ah-ma.

Well, the Raffles Hotel came down to sell their mooncakes at our tearoom-aka-canteen yesterday. Everyone was like having hoo-haa about how nice the Snow-Skin Mooncake with Champagne Truffle & Ganache from Raffles Hotel was. So I bought a box of that and a box of Snow-Skin Mooncake with Dark Chocolate Crunchy Pearl. Well, I find the Champagne Truffle & Ganache OK only leh. I actually like the Dark Chocolate Crunchy Pearl more lor, coz cruncy crunchy one... taste good. Yummy...

Yesterday was on superbus# 51 to go my mum's home. It was packed like sardine and this stupid Bungladesh-look-alike guy that was standing behind me was adjusting the aircon. Its not that kinda round aircon above the seats that we can rotate and adjust de lor. Its those bar-kind which I don't think can adjust lor. Then ta ma de the black dust all fall on me. Shit man. I thought how come my hand suddenly so ticklish, then I saw black black thing on my hand and look up and saw a hand. Then I turn my head back and that kam-gong guy still can smile at me lor. Wah lau, I gin him lor. That aircon how can adjust one. See also know liao, the whole plastic long bar is fixed one leh. Wah piang...

Then there's another time also on the superbus. There's this guy, I think his eyes itchy or what la... He was preparing to alight, but the bus hasnt reach the stop yet, then he climbed up one step of the stairs that leads to the 2nd deck and put his eyes near the aircon to blow. Biang eh... Ya la... the aircon was blasting and very cold la, but no need so kua zhang ba... blow the eyes with the aircon? I think more dust goes into the eyes lor... -_-|||

K la, enough crap le... Log off liao. Bye bye...

Busy busy... Weekend over already

Sigh... Weekend is gone again T_T
And hell, today is Monday X_X
Super sianz... Boring day at work. Real bored... Nothing much to do. Yawnz...

Went studio recording yesterday for Vicky's bridal MTV sample. Qik-zhar-buay-zha voice havent open go do recording liao. Biang... I sang like shit but hubby sang marvellously well (he's pro lor). Anyway, was a fun experience. Went mum's place for lunch after that as usual. Sunday = Family day.

Hubby and I always like to disturb my niece and nephew and see their reaction. I've got a very chirpy 3-year-old nephew and I'm always amazed by his little gimmicks. The last time out of the blue, he blurted "Five bucks? No way!", its the LJS commercial which I never even watched before lor. But hearing him saying that verse is si-bay-gey-yan and cute. Yesterday my dad was hugging him and I bet my dad's hair must be kinda messy or looks wierd, my nephew looked at his hair and asked innocently:

"Ah-gong, 谁comb你的hair的?"
My dad, amused by the question : "Huh? Ermm... 小朋友 lor"
Me, trying to disturb my nephew again: "Why? Ah-gong's hair not nice ah? Ah-gong handsome or not?"
My nephew shakes his head and mumbled "no". *Faints* Kids are so truthful. Wanna ask for any truthful and simple opinion, maybe can try asking the kids. Geez...

Hubby also like to disturb my nephew by saying he's wearing panties whenever my little nephew is out from toilet. Then my nephew will be like very ji-dong and reply "NO!!! Not panties, its UNDERWEAR!!!" Clever huh? Kids, they really can brighten up your day.

Sigh... so sianz... its only 10.46am now. 7 more hours to off work. T_T
Didnt tidy up the room last week coz was at Kembangan flea market on Saturday. Well, I make it a point to clean up and tidy up the room every weekends coz weekdays usually reach home quite late. Maybe try to reach home earlier tonight to do some tidy up.

K, getting back to work. Ciao~

Back to realistic

Wow, its been 1 month since I last updated. Aug is a travelling month, went Egypt from 4-Aug to 15-Aug, came back and went Guangzhou from 18-Aug to 21-Aug.

Egypt was a super relaxing and magnificiently majestic trip. Our tour group only have hubby and me. Haa... So its like we have a personal tour guide and driver.

The 4 days on the Nile cruise is really "relaxing". There's nothing much to do on the cruise, the only leisure facility available is a pathetically small pool. TV programs are mostly in arabic languages and the signal is so poor that when they start to sail you only see black and white dots and moving lines with "SSSssss...." sounds So basically the main activities on the cruise are sleep and eat.

We took all sorts of transport during this honeymoon trip - air, sea, land, rail. You name it, we got it. Aeroplane la, car la, coach, train, cruise, motor boat, sailing boat, horse carriage, camel ride and hot air balloon! Yea, yea... happening right... we went on hot air ballon the very next morning when we reach Luxor! We get to see them setting up the hot air balloon when we reach there. The balloon ride was hot and fun. Get to see sunrise on the hot air balloon and very nice scenary.

Went to visit alot of Egypt temples and ancient ruins during our stay there. The most memorable one would be Abul Simbel. Coz they literally cut out the huge stone temple and move it 200m away from the river that is always flooding and reconstruct it. And I tell you, the temple is not like the kind we see in Singapore lor, its stones lor and the temple is like more than 20 stories high. It was amazing lor, wonder how the people are able to do such things in the past. In fact, all the ancient ruins and temples are amazing lor, coz all the walls are engraved with stories or names, and I mean the WHOLE wall, even the ceilings. Its unbelievable how they do it in those old time with primitive tools and I can't imagine the life that the past Egyptian lives in.

Well, the weather was super hot when we were there. Even the wind that was blowing was sometimes warm. The food there really bei-hao-gor, everyday is gor-song bread of various shapes, pasta, chicken, mutton, potatoes, wierd vegetables... Their style of cooking just doesnt suits my taste Hubby and I yearned for Singapore's char-kway-tiao and hei-mee during our last few days at Egypt.

Their road very dak-gong. The traffic lights seems to be standing there for decoration coz they never works. The car hornings are non-stop especially for busy roads. Our last 2 days at Egypt were free and easy, so Hubby and I took cabs to our destinations. Their over-taking skill is of superb accuracy lor. Saad-saad-bo-chio... They zoom here zoom there, squeeze through in between cars which we thought were not possible coz the space seems so small. And don't bother to walk to the traffic light to cross the road; in Egypt, jay-walk is the way.

Wanted to post up some pictures, but I'm just too lazy to do it. Gee... Will try to do it one of these days.

Ciao~

Unknown stress

Feels like I've some level of stress building up in me. Unknown stress. Dunno what I'm stress of.

Yesterday night, after returning home from Charmaine's house collecting our goods, I realised my thigh had lotsa tiny red rashes. Dunno how it developed. And as I think back, I wonder if it's the dog that pounce on me and place it paws on my thigh that caused the rashes to develop. Wah... jia lat, come to think of it, my skin so ultra sensitive meh... =S

Next week going to the Egypt trip liao. Time flies man... Finally get a chance to rest and relax. Preparing myself to come back like orh-gek-leng, dark dark. I'll be bringing sunblock over while hubby is bring suntan lotion. *Faints* Think he no need to use camou-cream when he come back liao, as long as he dun open his mouth to show his teeth, think the enemy will think that its a patch of tree bark or dark soil. Wahahah...

CS Metro closing down sale

OK, I don't know when this started, but I recently found out that Century Square Metro is having closing down sales. And alot of things are going at 50% + 20% off ! And so I bought 2 quilt cover sets for less than $60, also some underwear for hubby and panties for myself. If you need anything which you think might be able to find at CS Metro, do go and have a look and save a heap. The things si buay cheap...

Went to cut my fringe on Saturday. Ya.... back to the ah-toot look again. Hubby feels like bashing me in the face again coz I look too "cute-to-be-true". My colleagues says the fringe makes me look so much more younger, looks sweet and one even commented that I look yummy. Yummy? Err... You mean my face looks round and flat and gong so you feel like eating? -_-"

Was in the MRT yesterday and saw a young lady holding up her handphone and snapping pictures of herself. Wierd leh... I mean with frenz around still ok la. But its like alone? Then kena siao like that smiling at the handphone and take picture of yourself. Dunno leh, I find it wierd... Or maybe I'm the wierd one? *shrugz*

I'm going Egypt !

Yes! Our honeymoon trip to Egypt is confirmed! Yeah!

After we return from Egypt, will be going Guangzhou with Beng, Hubby, Wansi and bf to see what else we can bring in to sell other than clocks. August is a travelling month!

Weekends just come and go, feels like I didn't get to enjoy weekends. Sometimes I just feel like lying on the bed and watch DVDs. But seems like most of the weekends are spent outside. The Shrek 3 DVD which I bought a few weeks back is starting to collect dust on the shelf le... Sigh... Hubby, when will we be able to watch it together?

2 more weeks to my Egypt trip. Woo-hoo ~~

Egypt - Go... No go...

My big day is finally over !

Everything was quite smooth. Dinner started on time at the banquet. Thanks everyone for turning up early and on time !

Now is the honeymoon thingy. Our Egypt trip seems to have so much problem. 1st is not enough people for the tour group. Found another tour agency and now they don't have flight ticket to Cairo. Grr... Hopefully they can find a pair of tickets for us *Fingers crossed*

Ugly behaviour as an elder

Its amazing how people can be so petty to an extreme. A member in my mum's family made my dua-gim (eldest aunt) unhappy and she was angry with the whole Angs family.

The whole story goes like this. My dua-gim and dua-gu went to my granny's brother's daughter's wedding. Then dunno why la, there's not enough seats for them. And my dua-gim and dua-gu kenna splitted into 2 tables. Then I think she very buay-song and storm out of the restaurant and went home before the dinner starts.

Anyway, I just get to know of this incident yesterday, coz I need to call up my relatives to say I will be going over to them pass my invitation card and cake. Then mum tried calling this no-logic-and-petty-to-the-extreme dua gim's home, but no one answered. So mum asked Cat, my cousin, to call her since Cat has her hp number. Then 5 mins later Cat called and relay that dua gim asked us dun need to give her coz she 不会接受. What the hell lor. I was like kinda puzzled why my dua gim is so harsh until mum told me the bo liao history that make her bear such deep grudges. Piang... Can't believe she can be so petty until she won't accept anyone's invitation even if we're not the ones who provoked her.

Anyway, never mind, I got the hp# from Cat so I can call her myself to explain to her. So I called, but she didnt pick up the call. Then never mind, I went ahead with all the sending of the invitations. So I used my hp to call this dua gim's home number to see if she's at home so I can go to her house and pass her the invitation card and cake. She picked up the call. I was kinda happy coz now that I know she is at home. Then she grumble grumble say she won't accept the invitation and say she tired and hung up the phone. Fuck her lor. But never mind, now that I know that she's at home, hubby and me went over her house. Shit, went to the wrong unit, then I called and called this petty dua gim's home number but she didnt pick up the phone. Never mind, so I called my 2nd uncle who lives quite close to her to check out her unit number. OK, hubby and me finally reaches the correct unit and we knock and call and knock and call but she wouldn't open up the fucking damn door nor pick up the phone. That is so RUDE lor. Come'on la dua gim, its others who provoke you lor, I'm just doing my duty as a niece to pass you my invitation lor, you don't want to come for the banquet never mind lor, but as the eldest aunt in the whole family tree who should be the most senile sensible and understanding elder, you acted so childish and arrogant lor. You're really a poor example to the rest. I super super super look you down. Wake up your idea la. You keep bearing such deep grudges until you lie inside the coffin, your life happy or not? Anyway, to end the story of this ugly behaviour of my childish and petty aunt, hubby and me left the cake outside the door and left.

Settled the whole distributing thing at 8pm. Phew... Guo-da-li done. Now gotta prepare for an-chuan next. 2 more weeks to go. OMG....

TL day!

This morning took bus 87 to work, boarded the bus and found a seat on the face-to-face long seat in the double-deck superbus and sat down. Then a ta-ma-de bastard who wear white and blue flowery shirt sat beside me. Ta-ma-de he's not very big size lor, but ta-ma-de he sat very close to me and ta-ma-de the bell pole is just beside me and I can't move my leg and ta-ma-de I have to shift and ta-ma-de squeeze my buttock with only half a seat. Fuck! TL ! Think the people sitting opposite me must have saw my TL face coz I keep "gin-ing" at the ta-ma-de flowery bastard. Feel like pulling his hair and give him a punch in his pockmarked face.

Monday si bey blue....

Sian sian sian... No mood to work today... Keep yawning none stop.

Oh ya, saw my primary school best friend's bro at suntec few weeks back and finally manage to get my friend's contact. Happy! Just in time to invite her to my wedding banquet! Been long since I last met her. Miss her lots!

Ok. Some update on my progress of moving of my stuffs to hubby's house. Had bring some bags and all my certs over. Planning to move my clothes over next weekend. Think nothing much to move actually. Most stuffs will remain at mum's house ba. Hahaha...

Saturday went to collect our wedding album, super heavy lor. Quite happy with the album la. Coz I'm not the fussy kind. Also went over to suntec to try out the sound system and projector. Works fine. Good. Coz I was still worrying that they cant play the music which I burnt from MP3 format. Need more planning with hubby on the march in stuffs.

This Sunday guo-da-li. Time flies...

My sign

My birth date is 21-Aug; lies quite between the sign Leo and Virgo. Birth dates that falls between 23-Jul to 22-Aug is under Leo and 23-Aug to 22-Sept is under Virgo. So officially I am a Leo.

I feel that my character is more of a Virgo rather than Leo. I don't like to lead, not outgoing, not very confident, not boastful and some other Leo traits which I don't think I possess them. Rather, I think I possess more of the hard-to-understand Virgo traits. Well, I'm a worrier, try to attain perfection for the things I do, undemonstrative, think complicatedly.

Anyway, went to do some bo liao personality test and below is my result.
So I can say that I'm a Leo with Virgo personality. Complicated.

You are 53% Leo

You are 87% Virgo

Mars Vs Venus

I love to watch the show "Mars vs Venus" thats currently showing in channel 8. Not only its funny, its also very realistic. Really reflects alot on man and woman. I practically agree with alot of the scenes, particularly "man can separate sex and love". Where the hell can you find such a man like William (acted by Piere Png) in the show?! Which guy can resist temptation from woman who pounce herself on him? These are real rare species. Think almost extinct in the world. Maybe you can find 1 such man out of every million species in the planet mars.

Team dinner

Super hot nowadays, super hot.... went hubby's home during lunch time to get some stuffs to top up at Lynette's store. While waiting for the bus at the interchange to come back office, I was like dua liap guah, shuay liap guah... all the guah "bursting" out from my pores and roll down from my head and back. -_-" Can't wait to get up the bus *sweat*

Had team dinner with my department colleagues yesterday at Royal Plaza on Scotts. The food wasnt that great. I think the dishes that taste best to me is their cakes =p Lot of the foods displayed on the table, I don't eat. So to summarise, below are the food that I ate yesterday night:

1st round
- Speghetti (the biggest portion of all the things I ate coz they cook the pasta on the spot)
- A small piece of roasted chicken (this one not bad)
- A few cubes of wierdly fried-style potato (the name of this dish was very long, dunno Anna simi simi simi sai fried potato)
- A slice of turkey (Yucks, I don't like the taste of it)
- 1 pizza bread (not bad)
- 1 dumpling (tasted so-so)

Abit full

2nd round
- Sushi (took 5 pieces in total of diff "fillings")
- Lobster (1/2 slipper Lobster, 1/2 pacific lobster)

Starting to feel very full...

3rd round
- fish maw soup (tasted nice, but felt like drinking glue - too starchy)
- chicken rice ball of ping-pong ball size with pathetically 5 to 6 slices of chicken (saw my colleague eating and said the chilli was nice, so I also went to try)
- keropok (those bitter bitter kind that hubby's dad like to eat and prawn crackers)

Super full liao...

4th round
- 3 small tiny pieces of chocolate cakes ( I love chocolate)
- 1 mini cup of tiramitsu with chocolate toppings (Yes, I love chocolate)
- 1 cheesecake (very small piece, but I couldn't finish coz its not chocolate =p)
- 2 round chocolate biscuits dipped in chocolate fondue (Yummy! Chocolate!)

5th round
- 1 scoop of chocolate ice-cream (yes, chocolate again), topped with chocolate syrup, rainbow candies, chocolate chips, peanut grinds (half of the ice cream already melted when I went back to my seat)
- Fruits (as usual... papaya, honeydew, watermelon, rock melon)

Walked to the toilet after the whole meal and I feel like my stomach is going to tear apart. I'm simply too full!

Whole dinner ended around 10pm. Walked to Orchard MRT with a bunch of colleagues to take train home. In the station waiting for the train to arrive:

Joyce : Wah... heng bao... must eat some yogurt to digest and let it come out.
Joey : Ya, think I go home take the Yu Ren Sheng medicine that can help digestion
Me : Wah... you all got so many styles, then I must go and buy 1 whole pack of yakult and finish the 5 bottles liao.
Joey: Wahahaha... OK, see whose method is the most effective.

Dr Ong is not in again

Went Maple on Friday to see Dr Ong for my pretty pretty face that is so dry nowadays. Reached there, bo lang eh... something's not right coz usually the queue is super long, checked the duty-schedule, correct leh, its Dr Ong on duty today. Then saw a notice pasted next to the schedule "Take Note: Dr Ong will be away from 9-May to 13-May". Ta ma de... This is the 2nd time which I came and she's not on duty lor. And its 2 times in a row. Grr... Angry...

Then I went Tampines Mall, spend money again... Bought a black-colour sleeveless top and a 3/4 denim pants, total hit $39. Still ok lah... Coz got discounts for both. Heh... =p

Mother's Day was just over yesterday. Well, this year, unlike the previous years, we didn't bring mum for a big meal. We bought her a chain and a diamond pendant by request. Ermm... Actually mum only requested for a chain, but I added on a diamond pendant for her. I'm glad she like the pendant alot coz she was in a dilemma as to put on her jade piece or the pendant for the chain, anyway, I told her to wear the jade lah, coz jade is better, think it can help to protect the person wearing the jade? Something like that ba...

May-day : JB trip

Was supposed to have stand-by in office during May-day, but in the end Japan and Korea say there's no shipment, so in the end cancelled. Heng ah... But my standby is pushed back to Vesak Day. Boo~~~

Anyway, hubby, me, kee, rong, quan and yen went JB on May-day. Reached there around closed to 11am, ate Ba-ku-teh, some claypot chicken, claypot trotter, basically the meal is full of meat. Very full. And we headed down to dunno-where (quan is this excursion's head) to look for a karaoke dvd which hubby need. We alighted the cab and smelt an extremely foul smell. Poor rong, took in too deep a breathe and vomitted right after he alighted the cab. Bo wei gong... the rest of us all zhao-kar-bey-hu to cross to the other side of the road to leave that area of deadly foul smell... and rong is still there, squating beside a canal, vomitting. Wah piang... he can still breathe in and smell that si buay chao bah-wu squating there de lor... Then quan and hubby were like shouting at him across the road to ask him to come over and leave the foul area. We saw him stood up and buay-ta-han vomit again. Bo-wei-gong... Finally see him crossing over and he vomitted once more *faint*

Anyway, we didnt managed to find the karaoke song that we wanted. So we left that shopping building and went Jesco where hubby bought some car shower foam, kee bought a top, quan and yen bought some dunkin donuts and rong bought a short bolster dunno for what.

Leave Jesco around 3 plus to avoid the traffic and custom jam. Met hubby's parent and granny for dinner to celebrate Mother's Day.

I was super bloated that day.

Read this =D

A man was walking across the road when he met with an accident.

The impact was on his head which caused him to be in a coma for two days, when he opened his eyes; his wife was by his side.

He told her (in tears), “when I was struggling with my studies in the University, I failed again and again. Sometimes I even have to re-take my papers. You were there by my side, encouraging me to go on trying.”

She squeezed his hands as he continued, “when I went for major interviews and failed to clinch any of the jobs, you were there, cutting out the job ads for me to apply…”

He added, “… then I started working in this little firm and finally got a big contract, I blew it because of a small mistake. But you are still there for me.”

His wife was in tears. The man said, ‘I finally got a job after being laid off for quite some time. But I never seem to be promoted and my hard work was not recognized. I remained in the same position from the day I joined the company till now. You are still beside me ….”

His wife’s tears trickled down as she listened to him, “and now I met with an accident when I woke up, you are here with me. There’s something I really like to say to you …..” she flung herself on the bed and hug her husband, sobbing with deep emotion.

Finally her husband said “…………………………….. I think you bring bad luck”.

ka na ji

Was attending the new hire presentation just now and the finance manager was sitting in front of me. He's an indian guy, botak botak, balding. No hair in the center of his head... chrome chrome, shining shining. I was looking very closely at his scalp and felt like giving him a ka-na-ji... hur~ o_o/v

Was in the bus yesterday morning and saw TV mobile reviewing on a new movie that is just screening in cinema. The shorts were si buay funny! The title of the movie is "Wild Hog" and I'll definitely going to catch it even though the critics gave it a D+ rating. Com'on lor, the users' rating is B lor... I think this bunch of critics must have watched too many movies to enjoy a comedy lor. Yeah, yeah... movies and popcorn again. Woo hoo~ Yea yea... getting fatter and fatter as well. Boo hoo~

Counting down, 39 more mins... Sian man... T_T

Busy long weekend O_o

Its been a busy long weekend. Wooo....

As mentioned in my previous post, Good Friday holiday is my bridal photo-taking day. Reached the bridal shop at around 10.30am, Angeline wasn't there yet. So I looked at some photo albums while waiting for her to arrive.

Around 10.45am, finally see her rushing in. So I went to change into my wedding gown, make-up, hubby changed, make up, went into the studio, smile-smile, pose-pose, came out, change hairstyle, go back in, smile-smile, pose-pose, came out, change to evening gown, change hairstyle again, back in to studio...... It was fun but tiring. Especially the outdoor shoot. The travelling make me so dozey. 1st stop was Botanic Garden, then we went to Punggol Beach. Initial plan was actually Changi Beach, but I requested for lalangs, so we ended up somewhere near Punggol beach with a whole field of pretty lalangs. Lucky us. After that went down to the beach to snap some photos. Our last stop was Fullerton, after so many greeneries, finally get to see urban sights. Whole photoshooting session ends at around 8 plus. Tired. Can't wait to see the photo in 2 weeks' time!

Saturday went to watch Jolin's concert. Super nice! Ma chiam watching some acrobatic circus performance. Lotsa great dances from Jolin and sing-alongs from the audiences. Funny thing is the human wave that Jolin requested the audience to do together. Her instruction is actually a human wave from top of the theatre to bottom. But you know la, our Singapore's Kallang wave is from left-to-right or right-to-left one, so it was hell of a mess initially. Then Jolin explained again. Finally the audience did a good one - still our Kallang wave version. We're just too used it left-right right-left. -_-

Watched Shooter on Sunday night. The story is about a shooter la, as what the title suggest. Asked to set up a plan to assasinate the president, but in the end kenna framed and went on a hideout and revenge trail. Ermm... it's kinda exagerating lor. The sniper si buay zun, no matter how far he also can aim and shoot on target. And I think the best part is they actually went those DIY/Walmart shop to buy "accessories" to make the GUN and explosive. Wah piang... didn't know the materials used to make guns can be easily bought in DIY shops. You must see it to understand the exagerration I'm talking about O_o Anyway, recently not much nice show on screen la. If you and your frenz wanna watch movie, can "try" this la.

Long weekend !

Yoo-hoo! Its Good Friday tomorrow! And its my bridal photo-taking session tomorrow! OK, so I must sleep early today, cannot drink water at night, and make sure I look pretty pretty tomorrow.

And I'm going to Jolin's concert on Saturday! Woo-hoo! Thanks hubby for this V-Day gift. Gonna see Jolin singing, dancing, doing some circus and acrobatic moves. And not forgetting her G-boobs which we had seen so many reports on. I think they are fake one lor. Last time flat flat, then suddenly now vaa-boom! so big... Wah lao, very hard to believe leh. Anyway, she can really dance well la, somemore with the 2 heavy assets in front of her, still can dance and jump, not easy..

Joke to share:

A man and his ever-nagging wife went on vacation to Jerusalem. While they were there, the wife passed away.

Undertaker: You can have her shipped home for $5000, or you can bury her here, in the Holy Land, for $150

After some thoughts, the husband told the undertaker that he would just have her shipped home.

Undertaker: Why would you spend $5000 to ship your wife home, when it would be wonderful to be buried here and you would spend only $150?

Husband: Long ago a man died here, was buried here, and three days later he rose from the dead. I just can't take that chance.

Growing dust

Been long since I update this blog. The logging in to blogspot is making my forehead full of creases. So many changes and wat the hell, the fonts are in Japanese when I log in. Come on blogspot, is the creator a Japanese? I thought English is the most common user language? Maybe they just want us to maximise the use of their help function. *Shrugz*

Gonna be very busy for the months to come; going to bazzars, preparing for wedding, renovating the room, etc. Had already chose the gowns for the wedding. Gonna go down the bridal shop next Sat to try the edited gown and trial makeup. Was kinda fun trying out all the different gowns. The more I try, the more I find the gowns all-so-similiar -_-

Work has been so-far-so-good *fingers crossed*. Was surprised and happy to see Juehui when her manager introduced her to my manager. Haa... The world is so small, we're now working in the same company. But kinda pity her coz she's got a lousy manager who knows nothing but ask questions and arrow people to do work. Easy money huh? Take home so high pay and that is all that he does. Know nuts on the work processes, don't even know what his subordinates are doing, pushing the subordinates to the limits... Think his whole team of people just can't wait for him to be sacked. Lucky my boss is a capable lady.

Alright, back to work now... Will update again soon. Hopefully...

Happy CNY

V-Day is over and coming up next is the lunar new year. Yeah... hope I can catch up with 周公during the new year holiday coz I didn't had enough sleep for the past few days. Been busy wrapping flowers for our mini business. Can see my dark rings getting worst T_T

Do you have the chinese new year mood now? For me, I only have holiday mood, no CNY celebration mood. I remember last time when I was young, I will make it a point to buy new clothes and new shoes and excitedly waiting for CNY to come. Now? Clothes that were bought few months back but not worn will be my new clothes for CNY. New shoes? Didnt get any pair. Used to hear my parents saying "If you're rich, everyday is new year". I didn't understand that when I was young. Now I do. Guess as one age, CNY is just a busy period in which you need to do spring cleaning, preparing goodies, cooking for the guests who'll be coming to your house, having gatherings with friends and relatives, etc. Its also a period of increased expenditure for the CNY goodies, new appareals, ang baos......

Yawn... Sianz... My ex-company has already shut down for new year celebration and I'm still here in my new office, working full day. WTF... I'm so sleepy.

Anyway, happy chinese new year to all. Gong xi fa cai. Huat ah !!!

Food testing

1 week past since my 1st day of new job. Time flies...

Went to try the food for our wedding banquet on Sunday. The food are nice and in big portion. Had a super hefty lunch. I just wish its as nice and big portion on the actual day. All the dishes are ok, except for the shark fins soup which Mum and MLW commented that it tasted weird with enaki mushroom. And so we requested to change to crabmeat on the actual day. I like the chicken in yam basket the most. Yum yum... I don't think I'll get to eat that on the actual day coz I guess I should be busy changing or going table-to-table for photo taking.

Had my facial session yesterday and Corren (person who helped me do the facial) confided to me that she and her bf had a tiff and broke off. But I see that she had been very strong and took the whole thing in stride. Dog year hasnt been a good year. See lotsa couples breaking-off. Hope the piggy year will be a good one.

Oink oink...

Booooring orientation

It was a boring day, boring orientation.

The whole day, we were sitting in the conference room, seeing various different people coming in to address us on various different topics - security, quality, safety, etc. Zzz... Boring. I basically dozed thru after the lunch break. It was worst than sitting in the office with no work to do; you know, at least in the office you can surf net.

Doh......

New year, new job

Been so long since I last updated my blog.

OK, so its now year 2007 and I'm already in my new job. Before I leave my previous company, lotsa colleagues are like congratulating me for leaving the company for good. And so during my last day on 5-Jan, my CS colleagues said that I must be very happy coz its my last day. But truely speaking, I didn't feel happy and neither did I feel sad. I didnt have any last day feeling. Maybe because the following weekday, which is Monday, I still gotta work. Just that its a different environment. Think the only person who's moody that I leave is my supervisor. Ya.. Coz she needa find a new person to take over me and she has to train my replacement from scratch. Aww... Anyway, I requested for a testimonial and she said its no longer in-fashion so she didnt gave me one. WTF... She might as well reject me and tell me straight that she doesnt have time to write me one.

My new work environment is good. Colleagues are mostly around my age. See lotsa people coming to work late but its ok coz we dun clock in and out. Have proper work training and a full day orientation which I have to attend tomorrow. And I joined their kickboxing class which commence tomorrow as well; 50 bucks for 10 lessons, its cheap like shit.

In the office now, so bored... Still in my "honeymoon" period; waiting for people to teach and handover work stuffs. Luckily there's msn to keep me occupied talking to my frenz. If not I'll be bored to tears. =D

X'mas season, rainy season

X'mas is just 6 days away and I havent done my x'mas shopping. I'm left with today and tomorrow to shop for gifts for my colleagues coz we don’t have to work on 22-Dec. Today I have my facial appointment and I'm left with only tomorrow to do my shopping. Gosh...

Oh ya... This Saturday we have a flea market stall around Cineleisure, commonly known as the Lime flea market. Do come and have a walk if you're free. We'll be selling stuffs like bags, keychains, necklace, handphone accessories, etc. I just hope it wont rain cats and dogs like these few days. *Fingers crossed*

Guangzhou trip

I wanted to post my blog for the Guangzhou trip on Saturday. And so I was typing happily on Saturday night and while uploading some pics, it prompts me internet connection error and the things I wrote were gone. WTF...

Anyway, the GZ trip was quite tiring coz dar and me didn’t went there for fun and holiday - but for a "mission". I practically felt like a typical China-man over there with our main mode of transportation by "kar". Yes, I didn’t spell the "kar" wrongly. "Kar" as in legs in hokkien, not those 4 wheel vehicle cars T_T Well, not that we wanna torture ourselves la, but the places that we wanted to go are mostly within walking distances from our hotel. Its like taking a cab at Raffles City and ask the taxi uncle to go to Bugis, no point right?

Accommodation wise, we lived in a 3 stars hotel which dar's friend had helped us booked earlier. The hotel room was very spacious with a mini hall, same as any other hotel only that they didn’t have a fridge. And our room view was facing a river. Yes, the picture you see below is our hotel room view. And part of my daily routine when I wake up is to open the window to check out if its cold outside and dress appropriately.

Have you heard before fruit steamboat? Sounds innovative huh? We had fruit steamboat for 1 of our dinner. No, no... Its not dipping fruits into the steamboat in replacement to the meat and vege. It’s only the soup that's just make up with fruits. Ya... You can see from the picture, there's a plate of meat, prawns, vege, etc. that comes together with this steamboat set which we ordered. And inside the steamboat soup there's apple, lemongrass and some clueless-leaves. They even took out a fresh coconut and poured the juice in. I was like "ewww... Can our stomach take such weird combination?"

Anyway, the soup turned out to be very nice and sweet after we throw in and boil our meat and vege. Tasted like tom yam soup without the spicy part. Ya... And as expected, after the meal, dar and me were shopping halfway, had stomache and rush back to hotel toilet to "bomb". The steamboat was too "nutritious" I guess X_X

Dar and me went to the K-Box during our last night at GZ. Wah kao... Their K-Box lighting and deco outside the KTV room is like our disco. Its like, so dark. Even the toilet is dark. The only light you see in the toilet is the luminous blue light shining at the toilet bowl and basin. I saw the toilet cleaner holding the dustpan and I wonder if she can see what she is sweeping or cleaning in the toilet -_-|||

I'm amazed by their mike hygiene which I don't get to see in Singapore - they cover the head of the mike with a black cover sheet. I had stripped the cover so you can see better in the pic. Anyway, who knows if they change that sheet cover right...? Maybe that's the reason why they use black colour so as to camou any yellowish stains that's left behind from evaporated saliva from previous patrons. X_X

Well, all in all, it’s an eye-opening trip. Get to see lotsa business opportunities and lotsa things which we don’t get to see in urban Singapore.

Oh ya, I must mention about our Singaporean "spirit" on the trip back to Singapore. Dar and me were sitting around the gate waiting for boarding at GZ airport back to Singapore. And then we saw a guy wearing a NUS jacket placing his bag and stood in front of the gate-counter. A few minutes later an old aunty pulled her bag and placed hers behind this guy's bag and walked away. Then another few minutes later, another aunty joined her bag in the queue too. And it goes on and on until the bag queue almost crossed the other side of the boarding gate and had to make a "L" turn. -_-||| I'm proud of Singaporeans' orderly spirit. But I'm ashamed about Singaporeans' kiasu-ism mindset. *Salute*

MC

On MC today for fever. The medicine is making me feeling kinda bloated. X_X

Sickly weekend

It’s a sickly weekend.

Was down with fever, nose block and sore throat on Saturday evening after attending dar's campmate's wedding banquet. Took dar's flu tablet on the very night. Sunday morning my whole body was feeling so lethargic and felt like my head suddenly weigh tons; I had to rest in bed most of the time.

Anyway, feeling better today, headache gone. But sore throat and nose block are still there T_T

Counting down

Weekend's coming !

Next Friday will be my company trip to Port Dickson/Malacca. Following Wednesday after my company trip will be trip to Guangzhou with dar... Woo hoo~
December's gonna be a short working month... ^_^

When...

When smiles become frowns,
When bubbly becomes quiet,
When cheerfulness becomes stonefulness
When optimistic becomes pessimistic,
When liveliness becomes lassitude,
When a pair of bright eyes becomes lifeless,
When tears no longer flow,
When the spirit leaves the soul.
When I see the change in me,
When you see a different me,
When I want back my original self,
And I realise it ain't that easy.

PSLE results are out

PSLE results are out !

Ya... I know its none of my business but I've got quite a number of colleagues' children under this batch mah. Moreover this is the lunch topic for yesterday and morning topic for today in office...

Most of my colleagues are having headache for the choice of secondary school, which I think, is not really so exactly important ba. Ya... I know all parents want the best for their children. But I feel that the name of the seconday school a child get into, is more like a branding which speaks for where they stand in their PSLE. Coz in my opinion, so what if the child enter into a so-so secondary? What's more important is the child's intelligence and diligence when they enter into the next education phase. Just my 2 cents worth. Afterall, employers look at results, not really at branding *Shrugz*. Well, I am a good example. I got into a lousy secondary school but I scored fairly well in my 'O' levels. Bleah... =þ

Take note

AMO's COMPLETE brand multipurpose solution users, in case you're too busy to watch the news due to exams and stuffs, do take note of AMO's product recall for their COMPLETE brand multipurpose solutions due to product-line problems at manufacturing plant in China which could affect the sterility of the product. They are recalling back product with lot number ZB02704, ZB03247 and ZB03195.

If you don't want your eyes to get infection or go blind, better check the lot number on the bottle if you're using this brand. You can read more of the product recall details over here.

Even fortune teller ask me to change

For the 1st time in my whole life, I went to a fortune teller to have my palmistry read last Sat

Well, the fortune teller was quite accurate in what she says. And after that visit, I guess its time I should change. Ya... Change. By not bottling things to myself and opening my window to others. Ermm... Easier said than done coz its like I've been kinda introverted for the past quarter-century *shrugz*.

Well, to those who knows me well, I'm actually quite crazy and crappy. Yes, this is the other side of me. That fortune teller says inside of me is an extremely warm nature (re qin) but sadly I appear cold outside. Warm nature... When she said that I was cheekily imagining myself saying hi and hugging everyone in the office or when I see friends outside. Eww... Sounds and looks flirty?

Wee... Dec coming soon

Time flies...

Guess what, its already mid of November!
Exactly 2 more weeks to my 2-days-forced-to-go-company-trip to Port Dickson/Malacca (such lousy locations T_T), 2 and half more weeks to my Guangzhou trip with dar and around 5 weeks to x'mas holiday. Yeah... Happy happy...

My workdesk is very neat now, ma chiam preparing to go on leave anytime. Heh...
Counting down, counting down...

Irritating fringe

My fringe is getting longer and poking my eyes. Argh... Irritating. And its gathering pimples on my forehead as well. Grr... Gotta ta han. Must wait for it to be long enough to hook behind my ears. Which is... a few more weeks? Sigh... Now all I can do is clip them up when I'm at work so it won't hinders my vision. Cut it? Then I have to keep maintaining that short length coz the same problem will repeat again. Sigh...

JB weight gaining trip

Went to JB with dar on Sat for dinner, spent less than SG$40 for a hearty and high cholestrol meal =S *Sinful*

Had butter clayfish, cereal prawns, kailan, mee goreng, gyoza (10 pcs), ice kacang and a super big cup sugarcane juice. Yea... Just the 2 of us. Power right? You wouldn't want to imagine the "power" we acumulated in our stomach. Feels like carebear who can shoot out their power from their stomach anytime, you know, rainbow lah, hearts lah, stars lah... we shoot out nothing, but an extremely bloated tummy and the belly button -_-||| And the pathetic part is we actually planned to walk across the causeway back to Singapore to help us digest and burn faster, but we ended up taking the bus instead. Sigh... hopeless. Putting on weight again.

Cloak of invisibility?! Cool~

Saw this interested article from Yahoo News which I find it so cool. Scientists create cloak of invisibility

Can you imagine if the scientists really successfully invent the cloak that makes an item totally invisible? Woo... I can visualize lotsa invisible people walking around, see flying objects anywhere, magicians everywhere performing now-you-see-it-now-you-don't, get bumped/slapped/beaten up without knowing who's the culprit, suddenly find your sis/bro missing for a few weeks only to realise they've been in the house all the while... Well if there's no law enforcement, criminal rates will definitely shoot up.

One of the handy use I think of is travelling on a coach. You know, when we go travelling especially on a coach for long ulu distances with few stops. We can use the cloak to make ourselves invisible and pee or shit right in front of the other passengers without having to eudure till we can feel the bladder ballooning and bursting or leaking anytime. I just hope the cloak makes the smell invisble too. If not the whole coach will start covering their nose and frown to the sudden shitty stink, thinking they are passing by a dung processing factory...

Anyway, I think it'll take another few more years to create a cloak of total invisibility la... And I think even if its succesful, it'll be purely for scientific use bah...

Hardest word I learnt this year

Bye

A plain and simple word. Yet this is the hardest word I learnt this year - bye.

Holiday ends so fast

Had been eating a lot over the long weekend. *Rubs her bulging tummy* OMG... Feels like I had put on 4 kg over the 4 days -_-|||

Well, this long weekend is really a recuperation-from-work period for me. Most of the time I'm eating, resting or roaming. Err... Does it resembles a pig's lifestyle? And I think if I go on this way for a few months, I will grow to look like a pig as well - lazy, slouchy and fleshy. Anyway, holiday is over and here I am sitting in front of my workdesk again. What have I got to say? Well... Think some of you might have guessed it right: Works sucks!

Counting down to the next holiday, which is in December. Gosh... Exactly 1 month...
December = holiday month = bonus month
Looking forward to it. Ho ho ho~ $_$

Hazy dayz

Feels like I'm in Genting whenever I open up my eyes and look out of the window in the morning nowadays. Well... OK... So that is not the cooling misty clouds we enjoy in Genting, but polluted haze that is coming from our neighbouring country. Eh-heh, Eh-heh (cough)... The haze is occassionally so bad that its blocking the sun ray; so much so that 7pm, which is supposedly to be a bit bright, looks like 8pm at night.

Take care everybody... Maybe should start buying some masks to stock up if our neighbour still don't do anything to it. But I guess Singaporeans won't put on mask unless the government says so. You know lah, Singaporeans ah... very obedient one... Even if the haze is so bad that you can only see 100 metres ahead, government never say anything, we would presume that its still safe to go out with our naked nostrils. In my opinion, Singaporeans are just too reliant on the government.

Oh yeah... 3 more working days and it’s the long weekend. Woohoo~

Cleared my work mess

Yes! I had managed to find and spend some time to do my filing and clear my messy workdesk. Yea... See the before and after? Great difference huh? Still left this big pile in the after pic to sort and file. Phew... Its so much neater now compared to the hell of mess earlier.

Counting down to Deepavali and Hari Raya holiday. Argh... Around 1 and a half more week. So near yet so far...

Be happy for what you are

Feel fortunate, treasure and be happy for what you have.
Love, food, shelter. There're a few millions of people including babies and children who are deprived of them. The next time when you throw any food away, think of these people. Your unwanted leftovers could be a feast to others.

Don't waste food and water.
Love yourself. Love everyone around you.
God bless.

Bad headache

The headache is killing me.

It was quite minor 3 days back. But today its getting worst. Now even when I turn my head, I can feel the tightness and pain in my head. The worst thing is that I'm having minor cough now, the tension created in my head makes me frown as I cough. Ya... So you can imagine my weird look when I cough =þ

Arghh... Feels like I'm Sun Wu Kong now, getting headache with the tightened-crown when Tang Shang Zhang chants the "evil spell". Yes, I'm going to the doctor later after my work to ask him to release that stupid crown, or perhaps give me some poison to make Tang Shang Zhang dumb. Hahaha... Ignore my nonsense. The headache is not making me think well.

The darkie strikes again!

7.55am. As usual, I'm standing in the station, waiting for the train to arrive.
Sensed something wrong on my left. Turned my head.
OMG... What the hell?! Its that darkie again!

Walked to the next cabin to avoid him.
Eunos. Cabin became less crowded.
Darkie walked over to the cabin where I'm standing while I walked to the linkage between 2 cabins (ma chiam playing chess or doing some indian dance).

He found a good seat and sat down diagonally opposite where I'm standing.
I watched him closely.
His eyes roaming at first.
Thought he had "turned good".
But no. As usual, the story repeats (see below entry for the story)
To summarise: a look-and-stare war.
I took some snaps of him.

Ladies: Beware.
Mum of this darkie: I don't think I look old, but I think your son miss you
Lover of this darkie: I think your man mistook me as you
Friend of this darkie: Pls ask your friend to put on his specs if he's short sighted. I definitely don't look like his mother or lover. If not he'll be bashed out of the train some day *cracking knuckles*

Idiotic darkie

I had a wierd dream yesterday night. I dreamt that someone bite me on my right leg until the blood was oozing out like a fountain, bleeding profusely. And strangely, when I woke up in the morning, I felt a pinch of painfulness in the area that I was being bitten in my dream. Cool huh... -_-|||

This morning I met an irritating darkie who keeps looking at me on the train. He's a Bungladesh I think.

As usual, I was standing on the linkage between 2 cabins. Initally this idiotic darkie was standing near the window, think he find it straining for his neck, walked over and stood diagonally opposite me, continued to look at me as I was reading Today. I stared hard at him occassionally and he looked away.

Eventually I can't ta han, found a seat to sit down and few minutes later, he was sitting opposite me. What the hell?! Never mind... When I alighted from the train and reached the bottom of the escalator, I still see him on the escalator looking at me. Freak man! If its not for the sake of my image, I'll had pointed my middle finger at him there and then. Wah cow... I look like his mother? Or his lover at his kampong? Or someone who owes him money? Or perhaps he wants to have a copy of the Today that I'm holding, or maybe he thought the envelope I'm holding contains money. To hell with him, I hope I don't see him again.

Next time I should take out my camera phone and start snapping at the people who keeps staring at me =þ Looking for a fight, ain't I?

Going strong

Locked in my world,
Eyes closed,
Music blasted.
Sinking heart,
Recovering soul,
Time needed to heal from head to toe.
Going strong,
Getting tough,
Nothing gonna break me down.
Earth revolves,
Day still pasts,
A fact to face no matter what.

Walking zombie

Having headache. Not enough sleep I guess.
Slept at 3am the night before and 1am yesterday night, waking up at 7am for work. Yawn... Its Friday today. What have I gotta say? Well... Still... Work life sucks! And work life plus daily night life will shorten my life x_x

Think I'm just not that kinda party animal who can play late and still stay alert and fresh the next day. Coz my eyes will be half shut especially after lunch... Sweets and sour plums will be lying right in front of my table waving frantically at me... Occasionally my mind will shut off from the outside world and I'll be in my own dark world with the Z-monsters... And the ringing of the phone sounds just like my alarm clock that wakes me up... =þ

Hell... I'm so sleepy now...

Somebody - Depeche Mode

I want somebody to share
Share the rest of my life
Share my innermost thoughts
Know my intimate details
Someone who'll stand by my side
And give me support
And in return
She'll get my support
She will listen to me
When I want to speak
About the world we live in
And life in general
Though my views may be wrong
They may even be perverted
She'll hear me out
And won't easily be converted
To my way of thinking
In fact she'll often disagree
But at the end of it all
She will understand me

I want somebody who cares
For me passionately
With every thought and
With every breath
Someone who'll help me see things
In a different light
All the things I detest
I will almost like
I don't want to be tied
To anyone's strings
I'm carefully trying to steer clear of
Those things
But when I'm asleep
I want somebody
Who will put their arms around me
And kiss me tenderly
Though things like this
Make me sick
In a case like this
I'll get away with it

Stoning more & more often

Today's Monday.
Felt like the weekends were just a dream, dunno what I've been doing.

I'm in a lost mood now. The feeling is like a cub who've strayed away from its protecting parents - feeling lost, trying desperately to look for the pillar of support. My buddy always ask me to be strong. I think I've been strong enough to be able to make it to this point. All the emotional struggles, its making me weak and training me to be stronger as well.

Been stoning very often nowadays; just staring at a spot but I dun really know what I'm thinking. But by doing that juat makes me feel at ease, its like for that moment I'm in an angelic world of my own, time just freezes and I'll always be in that comfort zone. Freaky behaviour huh?

Dar, time will heal everything ya? Give ourselves a bit more time...

Was supposed to be asleep now coz needa wake up early to go car-mart with my ah-lau tomorrow. But I couldn't get to sleep, maybe too used to sleeping late for the past few weeks. =þ

I can just go gaga whenever I hear their songs being played in pubs/disco. Gonna buy their the Best Of CD which will only be released in November, wondering if it'll be released in Singapore. Can't wait to get my hands on them.

K, think I shall go sleep now, tomorrow will be a busy day.

There's gotta be sunshine after the rain

No matter what happen, there's gotta be sunshine after the rain.
Now I not only see the sunshine, I also see the beautiful rainbow across the sky.
I didn’t have enough sleep yesterday night, but I'm feeling great today coz God did gave me a push as I requested yesterday. After a long time of depressed period, I suddenly felt so light.

Happy or sad, you still gotta pass your day; so choose to live happily. I'm now learning to appreciate life.
Thanks God, thanks angel.

Dar's back

Boring... Waiting for dar dar to be back. Roller blading today was cancelled coz the floor was wet after the rain.

Sometimes when one is too used to a certain lifestyle, its kinda difficult to switch. Sitting and waiting. Its not a good feeling...

I hate Monday

Work life sucks.

I have piles of paperwork waiting to be checked and file. Anyone can help me? Sigh... Sianz... Think can consider going MOS with Kee every Wed after my dance class to let the hair down. Ladies' night, retro night. Yeah... I like retro... Last week's music was not bad, Kee looked forward to "YMCA" which wasn’t played. Perhaps was played after we left *shrugz*

Arghh... Its Monday, I hate Monday.

Happy birthday to me

Com'on let's sing a long with me:

Happy birthday to me,
Just a normal day to me,
Still a working day for me,
Happy birthday to me...

Yea... Happy birthday to me, nothing great... Still gotta wake up at 7am today, sit in front of my office pc, still gotta work, gotta reply to emails, listen to phone calls... Sigh.. 1 more year older... Birthday wish? World peace (model answer for beauty pageant)

P.S: Dear frenz, thanks for all your birthday greetings. I simple thought or gesture is worth a goose to me. =)

How to stop ppl from bugging

Saw this useful and funny statement forwarded by my brother which I wanna share with you.

How to stop people from bugging you about getting married
Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next."
They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

Happy lunar birthday

Happy lunar birthday to me.

My mum is a typical hokkien and she insist that everyone in the family must eat a bowl of mee-suah on our lunar birthday. And so when I reach home after my 89757 lesson, mum cooked a VERY big bowl of mee-suah for me with 2 hard boil eggs, a chicken thigh and lotsa mushrooms (my favourite). Yum yum... Oh ya, and thanks bro for his little piece of chicken cutlet also. Ya... that brown brown thing at the top of pic is actually the chicken cutlet. Pardon for the lousy picture.

Such a big bowl with so many extra stuffs, eat until my stomach big big...
Thanks mum...

Lousy day

Planning to do something to my hay, err... I mean hair. Its damn dry like hay, and even the colour looks hay-alike. Thinking of what colour to dye and am seriously considering about rebounding (my 1 and only rebound session done many years back had freaked me out coz I dropped a lot of hair)

Today is a lousy day. Another busy-with-line-down work day while I'm still in my holiday mood. Sianz... Sucky day... Dar came back for 1 day yesterday and had to go back 4am wee morning to continue his course. Looking forward to his return

The office is freaking cold today, my fingers are icy cold. Crazy aircon. Last week it wasn't working fine, making the office stuffy like hell. Now I'm ma chiam working inside a fridge. Another half day to go... Argh...

Happy Birthdays

I'm in a holiday mood, definitely not in the mood for work today.

August is a good month.
August is a holiday month after so long since the last Vesak holiday in May. August is Singapore's birthday month(happy birthday Singapore!). August is my birthday month (one year older le...). August is my brother's birthday month (happy birthday too bro!). And I just thought of a friend of mine who's no longer around, her birthday is just a few days before mine... happy birthday to you Lily (you'll be miss...)

Read in Today, Lebanon's death toll crosses 1000 with more Israeli's bombings and there's a pic showing a man sitting amongst the rubble crying. Its sad. The page just next to this article is a shopping advertisement with the words "Happy Birthday Singapore" flashed across it. Extreme contrast.

Aren't you happy and proud to be a Singaporean?

Power or Peace?

Give me a chance and turn back the time
This land I'll forsake and proclaim not mine.
When things end up in blood and tears,
I'll throw the white flag and surrounder my gears.
If it stops the carnage and you'll retreat,
Power is nothing comparing humanity and peace.

Chocolate fondue

Had chocolate fondue yesterday evening at Max Brenner. For chocoholic like me, its yum yum. For those not who are non-chocoholic like my ah-lau, the chocolate is just too much for him. Pardon for the poor quality pictures due to my lousy camera phone.

Full fondue set

Milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate

Fruits: strawberries and bananas

Marshmellow and bread crumbs

The world is changing

Is my mindset becoming obsolete?

A guy approached me at MRT yesterday, asked me for my number. For some personal issues, I felt depressed, lost and my mind wasn't working fine yesterday. Normally I will just wave my hand "no" and immediately walk away. But being in a retarded-mood I actually gave him my company number. Just now, he sms me, I told him I'm married. He asked if we can still meet up.

Isn't it wierd? I thought guys will back-off once he knows that you're married? No? Maybe he thinks I'm joking with him.

Life's that short few 10s of years

Love conquers everything, blinds all things, forgive anything but can never forget certain things.

Guan Yin Mah played some jokes on me yesterday. Mostly bad ones. I'm now trying to take them lightly, just want my tired mind to ease, want my half-dead heart to nurse. Keep telling myself that life is never a bed of roses, God gave us that few ten-years to live. You're in control of how you want it to be. Some choose to destroy it with evil deeds, most worked very hard through their life to make ends meet, some millions out there roaming along the streets half naked or sick waiting to be feed, many don't know how fortunate they have been and wouldn't even touch the whole plate of dish when they see a tiny fly in it. I thought through my life, I'm umpteen times fortunate than alot of people out there who are suffering from hunger, sick with no medicine to cure, lying on a hard ground waiting for god to take their life away. So what more should I ask? I wish each and everyone around the world healthy and happy. Money can't buy these.

When you think there's no meaning in life, when you find that everything you do seems to go wrong, when you feel like everyone seems to dislike you and nobocy cares; think of the people who are less fortunate than you who don't know what to do everyday and your family member who's always there for you. Someone used to told me, we can't compare such way coz we're living in different kind of world. But aren't they human too? You mean they don't have feeling? No pain? No worries? Pardon me if you think the same way as this someone do, but I think you're a bastard. And those terrorist out there with nothing to do but create havoc are such a disgrace that I think even a beast can't tolerate their acts.

I feel the drift

Tired... Slept less than 2 hours yesterday night. Being worried-sick for nothing... Sigh... I doubt if he understand how worried-sick I was, how my pillow was wet with tears waiting for a simple sms or call, finally fell asleep around 4am but keep waking up every 15 min to check the mobile. Now I truely understand why worried-sick is called such.

Saw a quote from "i"-mag remarked by a famous director which I find so meaningful. It goes something like this... "When a person is lying on deathbed, close to dying. He won't be thinking why he didn't strive harder and excel in his carrer or work longer hours to earn more money. He'll be thinking and regreting why he hasn't been spending time with his family and be there when his friends need him." Did it touched your heart? Well, its touches mine, deep enough to make me reflect.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

We were so closed to reaching each other's hand on the buoy,
Yet a strong wave came and pull us away.
Further and further we drifted apart,
Despite attempts to swim close and not to part.
We shouted across to each other,
Encouraging and spuring one another.
How long will this go I wonder,
As our shout finally became murmur.
Then I saw you swimming over tired and persistant,
Reaching to my hands that are wrinkled and cold.
Reassuring that everything is fine,
We sank together with your hands in mine.

Sweet dreamz...

I had a sweet dream yesterday night.
I wish I'll never wake up from the dream...

Find the song below by Blue is so meaningful...

Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word
Music by Elton John
Lyrics by Bernie Taupin

What have I got to do to make you love me
What have I got to do to make you care
What do I do when lightning strikes me
And I wake to find that you're not there

What do I do to make you want me
What have I got to do to be heard
What do I say when it's all over
And sorry seems to be the hardest word

It's sad, so sad
It's a sad, sad situation
And it's getting more and more absurd
It's sad, so sad
Why can't we talk it over
Oh it seems to me
That sorry seems to be the hardest word

What do I do to make you love me
What have I got to do to be heard
What do I do when lightning strikes me
What have I got to do
What have I got to do
When sorry seems to be the hardest word

What's the meaning of...

Due to some funny history, Kenny and I have been using the word "na bei" as our normal greetings in replacement to the normal "hi" in MSN. Just now I suddenly wonder what does "na bei" means. So, thinking Kenny must be an expert in vulgarity coz he uses this word so often, I asked him what does "na bei" means. His reply: "actually hor i also dun know leh"... Na bei, he uses the word so often yet he doesn't know what it means...

Anyone know what exactly na bei means? Hmm... Wonder if the meaning is very offensive...

Joke of the day:

At Cabana East Coast waiting for the scoccer match between England and Paraguay to start...

Kee (looking at the meu) : Ehh... what's the difference between mocktail and cocktail huh?
Me (being bored) : Oh... Mocktail you drink already will make fun of people coz drink liao will mock alot. Cocktail you drink already will talk alot coz drink liao you will talk cock...
Kee & me: ... ...

Just another down side of life

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

Didn't we agree that we must strive hard while we're still young to earn our 1st $100K before the age of 30? Life is full of ups and downs and we're just undergoing the down side of life now. Give ourself 1 more year, life will be better. You've been a loving, great and flawless husband. Love isn't about having to spending every minute and second together, its about knowing that someone special out there is thinking of you every minute and second.

Happy 5 year anni, I love you...

June is a happening mth

June is such a happening month isn't it? Its the month when the Great Singapore Sale takes place and its also the month when the world cup fever commence. Wow...

Ya... its the Great Singapore Sale now. So did you bought you anything for the past few days or intend to get anything in the following weeks? Well, I bought mostly the neccessities, like vitamin C skin booster, Eucerin shower oil and body lotion (what the hack, Eucerin and Cetaphil are so damn expensive, if not for my sensitive skin...) And all these actually save me more than 10 bucks after the discount. I'm still thinking what are the stuffs I need so I can get them during these few weeks in discounted prices. Hmm...

1 thing I hate about shopping at this season is that every shopping center you go, its always so crowded. You see people digging in piles of clothes hoping to find something good and cheap, people crowding in front of the mirror to see if the top fits them or people holding the pants around their neck to see if it'll fit their waist coz the stupid fitting room's queue is forever so long, you see the men sian-sian standing around the lingerie department arm-folded waiting for their girlfriend/wife, sometimes even going toilet is such a chore coz of the long queue. Well... after all, the few dollars of discounts can gather to be quite a hefty sum of savings. Hmm... Buy more, buy more... help Singapore boost the economy. Buy more, buy more... go home you look at your shopping bags and you regret more...

Staying up this midnight to watch the first match between Germany vs Costa Rica and Poland vs Ecuador?
Nah... I'll be the live audience in the stadium with Uncle-Zhou in my dream...

Ah-lalalala-Long...

My malay neighbour's door was kenna splashed with black paint yesterday night and the wordings "O$P$ #XX-XXXX" was written in the lift with super thick and non-erasable blue marker.

Well, its none of my business. But the black paint dripping onto the floor as the Ah-Long aka loan shark make their way to the lift after getting their job done is my problem. Now my corridor has large ugly black polka-dot patches.

Sometimes I find these Ah-Long abit dumb. You know, people already owe them money and they still needa waste money to buy paints, markers and pig's head occassionally. And these Ah-Long's men can't sleep at night coz they must wait until its late at night when everyone is sleeping then they secretly do it. I mean, so what if you splash paint and all the whole block of neighbours know that this unit owes you money? When people are desperate and short of cash, they don't care what you do as long as they have the money borrowed to solve their financial problem. And I just don't understand why they know they will expect bad debts and they're still willing to lend people money. The world have lotsa of wierd people.

Wonder if other countries have Ah-Long also? And wonder what tactics they use when people don't pay up. Maybe the Ah-Longs worldwide should meet together to share their tips and experience. Hmm... I think the police will also be happy if there is one.

89757, dancing 7-shou-8-jiao

Just came back from 89757 dance class. OMG... the dance is so fast and furious.

Yes, I'll be learning exactly the same dance moves as the clip above and that babe in the white cap is our dancing instructor, XK. While teaching us the first 8 beats of dance steps, she was like counting "1... and... 2... and... 3... and..." . After that we tried dancing to the beats of the music and we were like all lost, coz the beats are so fast, "1 and 2 and 3...", no dragging in between the on & and beats. Everyone was like laughing at the end of that short 8-beats dance steps coz we look so clumpsy and stupid. And the only dance moves we did correctly are the first 2 and last steps. It took us more than 15 mins to learn that 8-beat dance steps but it ended in less than 10 seconds dancing to the music. *Sweat*

Somemore this dance must "gek" that stupid robotic moves then nice. Jia lat... more to come... Feel like backing out. But it'll definitely be more fulfiling after completing the course for this 89757 then Jolin's Shuo-Ai-Ni.

Its Monday already?!

Its monday again.

Feels like I was sitting at my workdesk just yesterday, as though my weekends are just like a dream, woke up this morning and its like "Sigh... Its morning again, did I actually had my weekend?". Weekend passes by so fast.

Watched MI3 on Saturday. A great movie. Feels that Tom Cruise is not as yan-dao as before, think age is catching up on him? Yesterday went to KTV with dar and kee. Its been more than 3 months since I last went to KTV And with all the new songs coming up, I'm still singing those usual old songs. Hmmm... come to think of it, realised that I seldom listen to the radio. The only time I really get to listen to radio is in the taxi, car or van. No wonder I know only old songs.

Kinda excited over a little biz plan in mind. I wanna be rich ! I wanna quit and leave my company ! But I think I'll still need to stuck here for another... half year? I hope...

Horray

OK... so my long resting and long waiting dance class is finally re-starting next Tuesday (Horray! ) Everyday its work, home, work, home... No life, really bored man... Now at least for the next 12 Tuesdays I can do something I like and happy. Heh...

Will be learning JJ's 89757. Heard Ash says that the dance steps are very nice but difficult. Make me both excited and worried. Did I used to mention that I'm one of the oldest student in the dance class? Well... ya... most of them are in their teens, while I'm moving into all the "TIES". You know..."TIES" as in twenTIES, thirTIES, forTIES. Old bone with a little bit slower processor as compared to the teens. Haa... Sad...

Used to hear people say that once you cross the 21-year-old age line, your age will jump and increase in a flash. Find it quite true. Think I better start planning for my retirement now.

WTF !!!

I am so hot and angry now.

I have this lousy sales exec which I am handling some of his accounts. Lousy, inefficient, ineffective, zo bo l** at work... What he's good at? PR. No wonder he's in the sales line. Yes, can talk, cannot work. WTF... The management should not only give sales commision, they should give CS commision too, coz we clear all the shit and work like hell...

Oh God, please have eyes...

Ill-fated heels

Suay... This is the 3rd time my heel-shoe broke halfway while I'm walking to the MRT, on my way to work.

The... errm... how do I call that? Cloth? Leather? Ah... whatever... It just came out from the lousy sewing and while I'm crossing the road, it came loose and I gotta walk back looking crippled. Luckily its just a few metres from my home, if not I'll have to be crippled all the way from the MRT back home. The past 2 times, it was much further from my home, also on my way to MRT to work, the "whatever" broke and came loose and it's impossble for me to wear it back home. So I barefooted and ran back home to change another pair of shoes coz I'm running late for work. Si-bay-suay...

Think next time I should avoid wearing heels, must wear those kinda executive clog-shoes, or boots whereby the material will have no chance to break through the lousy seams and come loose. Haa... who knows skarely the whole piece of leather come out. Wah... that'll be super suay man... Or maybe I should buy those super adhesive super-glue to go round my heels so that the material wouldn't come out. The lifespan of my heel shoes are usually less than 2 years. Just don't understand why all my heel shoes have such fate. Sigh...

Meaningless

Very often, I find life meaningless. Do you?

Everyday its wake-up, eat, work/play, shit, urine, sleep...
Sometimes I wonder if I die, how many people will cry for me.
I'll think of my life after death. Will I still be born a human?
Or a wild boar who'll kenna slaughtered when the "time is up"?
Or an ant who's kenna suffocated and poisoned by the pesticide while sleeping? Or a fish who's just hungry and wanted to take a bite on the bait and ended up being grilled or steamed the next moment in the wok?

Well... I believe in Karma. Yes I do. Alicia Key had sang it well and sum it all in just one chord in her song, Karma. "What goes around comes around, what goes up must come down".
Am I abnormal? Or am I suffering from depression? ( huh?!) Or is it signs of aging?

Its another lousy day today. I'm beginning to hate my job...
Boo...

Bo ka-lau

Tired of my boring and routine job...
Have the urge to tender. Sigh...

Joke of the day:

Ah Beng and Ah Lian bought 2 big bags of durian from Geylang and were on their way home to Woodlands in their motorbike.
Along the way, they crossed a big hump and suddenly Ah Beng heard a very loud "gong".
Ah Beng: Durian ka-lau (drop in hokkien) ah?
Ah Lian: Bo ka-lau ! Bo ka-lau !

So Ah Beng continued to acelerate and sped home. When they reach carpark...
Ah Beng: Eh... Where's your helmet?!
Ah Lian, very angry: Just now I told you! Bo ka-lau!
Ah Beng:

Tired

Tired...

Back to work after long weekend. Tired... My yawning rate now is like 3 yawns per minute. Bad... this is so bad... If this goes on till 1730, think my mouth will turn sore.

Looking forward to another long weekend next week. Hope dar will recover soon from his fever.
